Recall City Council Approval for Meta Data Center
We, the undersigned residents, taxpayers, property owners, business owners, and concerned citizens, respectfully petition the Jeffersonville City Council to rescind its approval of the proposed Meta data center project.
We believe this decision does not reflect the concerns of many members of our community and should be reconsidered in the interest of transparency, accountability, and responsible governance.
By signing this petition, we ask the City Council to take immediate action to withdraw its approval and reopen public discussion regarding this project. We believe the long-term impacts on our community deserve further review, including concerns related to infrastructure, utility demands, environmental impacts, quality of life, traffic, noise, future development, and the overall use of public resources.
We further request that any future consideration of this project include meaningful public engagement, complete transparency regarding agreements and incentives, and an opportunity for residents to have their voices heard before any final action is taken.
