REINSTATE DAVE MATTHEWS

David Matthews, from the Toms River Township Animal Control, the last remaining employee, was fired because he refused to euthanize a bird. On Tuesday, February 18th, the Mayor demanded that David Matthews euthanize a bird because it was untested for bird flu. In addition to this, the Toms River Police Department subsequently also refused to euthanize a bird. The township will now rely on a third party vendor for all animal related calls. This is unacceptable!
YOU MUST REVERSE THIS DECISION IMMEDIATELY!
Not only is this frivolous and uncalled for, but we also demand that the Toms River Animal Control Facility be reestablished and back up and running as a full functioning facility!
THIS IS BEYOND UNNACEPTABLE!

Why is this important?

We desperately need a fully functioning Animal Control Facility and Shelter in Toms River Township! This is a huge town, and it is fully warranted. We also need excellent employees, such as Dave Matthews to lead the facility.

How it will be delivered

In person to his office
