SAVE CHILD CARE by saying NO to Greedy Billionaires!

Decimating child care, preschool, early intervention, and Head Start budgets to fund tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations only spells disaster for American families. Child care has long been unaffordable and unattainable for families, and new data just released from the Department of Labor shows that child care costs more than the median yearly cost of rent. According to recent studies, child care challenges cost the United States economy an estimated $122 billion a year. Supporting investments in high-quality child care and early learning programs can help offset this loss, generating up to $7.30 for every dollar invested

We are counting on you to protect the needs of our nation’s families and kids. Cutting early education and child care funding in order to provide more tax cuts to the wealthy is harmful and unconscionable. Instead, our elected leaders should be supporting legislation that invests in our children’s future.

We are asking you to reject cuts to early learning and choose families over billionaires.

Why is this important?

Already the Republican majority has failed on the promise of lowering prices, and now they want to take a hatchet to our wallets by making child care struggles even worse by decimating child care, preschool, early intervention and Head Start budgets in order to provide trillions of dollars in tax cuts to billionaires and wealthy corporations.

Child care is already unaffordable and unattainable for families, and new data released from the Women’s Bureau at the Department of Labor shows that child care costs more than median yearly rent for U.S. Families!

Cutting funds to child care and Head Start to subsidize the rich is UNCONSCIONABLE. Sign our letter now to say NO to child care cuts!
