I am very upset today, our "Federal" government has essentially let us California's know that we are on our own. Thank God we have a solid State Government. So, my question?? why am I paying Federal Taxes? The money I pay to Federal I would be happy to pay to my state. I am not happy with the endless parade of corruption scandals coming from Albany. Your suggestion that corruption convictions show that current rules are working is out of touch with what New Yorkers feel. Rather, the constant, high-profile scandals show us how badly we need to change the rules to prevent corruption. In fact, 90% of New York voters want reforms to address corruption. Failure to pass meaningful reform this session will only further erode what little public trust is left in our state legislators.

As the CEO of Walmart, it is ultimately your decision when Walmart stores open for Black Friday sales. And since you have decided that Walmart will open for Black Friday at 6pm on Thanksgiving, we are asking that you leave your friends and family and show up to work in a Walmart. If opening on Thanksgiving is so important to Walmart's bottom line you should show up to work alongside your employees.
