  • Texas Help! Pay The Freeze Bills
The state of Texas is facing unprecedented challenges due to an historical freeze causing many residents and small businesses to be left without power such as lights, gas and water. Texas reigns as a leader in the production of solar, wind and energy yet it’s independence from the US source of power put many lives in jeopardy even causing 77 deaths and over 5 million households to be without these necessities. So far, all assistance for the Freeze Relief has been centered around water drives. Our communities in Texas are in need of immediate assistance and relief from their utilities bills by those who are responsible for the management of the disaster relief funds that will be released to the state as a result of the Major national disaster declaration given by President Biden. With that said, we the citizens of Texas are demanding that the lights, water and gas bills be canceled and or paid in full by the State of Texas for the month of February which will help household budgets during this time of unprecedented economic downfall due to Covid 19.

  • Gumroad: Don't Profit from Our Pain
On December 27, a white man fueled by racist, colonial, and misogynistic hate started a shooting spree that murdered 5, injured several, and broke the hearts of people across the globe. Among the victims were indigenous activists, artists, parents, and small business owners. Several children lost parents or were placed in life threatening danger. Before committing these acts, the shooter made a film about his plot. The shooter's friends and girlfriend have since begun to rent/sell the film on Gumroad's platform. They claim to be donating the profits from the film "to the victims", but have also stated in the media that they have "bills to pay". We are asking Gumroad to remove the film War Horse from their platform. Making this film available puts people who have been profiled and targeted at risk. He has a following, and his following has grown. Do not continue to let fascist ideology and violent racist misogyny spread. Do not allow people to profit from the pain of our communities.

  • Host a Town Hall During Recess: Rep. John McGuire
As your constituents, we are signing the petition to express our disappointment and frustration at the lack of in-person public forums available for us and the people in our community to meet with you. We are directly impacted by the chaos and dysfunction caused by President Donald Trump and unelected billionaire Elon Musk’s brutal firing of American workers and the proposed slashing of public services and programs like Social Security and Medicaid. We have serious concerns about the future of our public schools, postal service, and support for veterans.  Meanwhile, the issues voters care about—the rising cost of groceries, affordable housing, and health care—are getting worse, not better.  We urge you to schedule in-person town halls so that you can hear directly from the people you were elected to represent, and be accountable for the decisions you are enabling or supporting.  There is still time for you to do right by your constituents and meet with us in good faith to hear our concerns.   Sincerely, VA District 5 residents

  • Stand Up For Injured Workers.
I was injured on the job in 1988, I had no choice in the issue. I could only deal with the after affects of it. Like many here in Ohio ,I was finally forced to go off work. I thought the Bureau of Workmans Comp system would be there to protect me, instead it exist to protect the employer.I have been to over 50 hearings, and each issue was important to me. I have won less than 5 hearings. Injured workers in this state are at the mercy of the hearing officers of the Industrial Commission of Ohio. We have the resourses that they our employers allow us access to. While in my claim my employer has unlimited resourses. And prefers to use them to pay doctors to say what they want them to say. Injured workers have no voice in my state, that includes every media outlet. I am will to stand up for the union workers here in Ohio, but who is willing to stand up for the silent minority ?

  • Demand CU Boulder Adopts Sanctuary Campus Policies
A sanctuary campus includes:  1. A total ban on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers entering campus buildings without a judicial warrant.  2. A refusal by campus police to enforce immigration law or cooperate with ICE.  3. A guarantee that CU Boulder will not collect or share student or staff immigration status with ICE.  4. Tuition support, including in-state tuition rates, for students with DACA status.  5. Distance-learning options for deported students to complete their degrees.  6. Confidential legal support for students and staff facing immigration-related issues.  7. The expansion of sanctuary policies to include all CU Boulder-affiliated facilities, including medical and administrative offices.  8. A reduction in campus police presence at protests where undocumented students and staff are organizing, to prevent state intimidation.  9. An end to CU Boulder’s labor practices that undermine worker and student worker labor unions.  We demand that CU Boulder adopts these policies to protect our students and staff.

  • Remove Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene
Expel Boebert and Greene due to the colluded efforts in the Insurrection on January 6, 2021 They are guilty of dereliction of duty by giving reconnaissance tours on January 5, 2021 per video evidence. And on Tuesday night, Representatives Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene made national headlines with their repeated disruptions and heckling of President Biden’s State of the Union address.1 This was just the latest in a long pattern of behavior that demonstrates both Reps. Boebert and Greene are absolutely unfit to serve as members of Congress. In fact, Marjorie Taylor Greene attended the America First Political Action Conference this weekend, which was hosted by a well known white supremacist, Nick Fuentes.2 This conference is widely considered to propagate and support white nationalism. As a massive uptick in Nazi and white nationalist sentiments spreads across the globe, people affiliated with such bigotry should not have the authority to legislate the lives of Americans. These representatives are unfit for Congress, and their ideologies have no place within the halls of power. They must be removed.

  • Amending the 22nd Amendment
Second petition: Make the following change to the 22nd amendment: Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than once, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term. Term will be defined as 6 years. When someone is elected as President they basically work under the previous Presidents budgets and actions for the first year, then they have two years to do their job and then the 4th they spend running for election again. It would eliminate this and give them 5 years to do their job.
