  • ITS TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE
Kentucky needs to change the laws for domestic animals. Authorities need to take complaints of unethical or corupt behavior in regards to domestic animals seriously. Owners need to be held accountable when they ignore responsible pet ownership. Puppy mills need to be shut down. What can and should be done: 1. All domestic animal owners should be required to register and license thier animals in the county in which they live. 2. Spay and nueter programs should receive funding at a state, or local level to make spay and nueter affordable and accessible to pet owners who fall below the national and state poverty levels. 3. Fines for not having pets properly vaccinated and altered 4. Shelters and rescues should be inspected on a regular basis. Transparency enforced. 5. Funding needs to equal the needs of county and state shelters so they can provide the care expected by the community. 6. Law enforcement, animal control officers and those required to enforce ethical and humane treatment need to followup on complaints by the public in which they serve. 7. Abuse, neglect and failure to provide a safe, clean environment for domestic animals taken seriously. 8. Laws defining abuse changed and enforced The overpopulation of animals far outweigh the resources available and while this cannot change overnight, implementation of stronger laws and the enforcement of those laws will create change over time. We the people of the state of Kentucky are asking for change at a state level. This petition serves as a voice for the voiceless and will be submitted to those in positions to create the changes we are asking for.

  • Eliminate the excessive traffic crashes on Forest Ridge Blvd. in Beverly Hills, FL
To whom it may concern, As a 5 year Beverly Hills resident, living in close proximity of Forest Ridge Blvd., I have become increasingly concerned for the safety of my family and neighbors due to the excessive traffic crashes (some of which have been fatal) on this road. On nearly a daily basis, I have witnessed vehicles traveling in excess of the speed limit which is currently 45 mph. At times, several vehicles have appeared to be "racing". Additionally, I have witnessed many of the crashes which occurred at various hours of the day and night. Please see my home security camera footage for additional details. In my opinion, as the majority of what Forest Ridge Blvd encompasses is residential homes, the speed limit should reflect the environment. Many of the homes are in close proximity to the road. A crash at a high speed could not only cause injury to vehicle occupants and pedestrians but property damage as well. I have expressed my concerns to various neighbors and often hear similar complaints pertaining to excessive speed in this neighborhood. Parents are anxious to walk their Forest Elementary students to school. My family is also fearful to use the public sidewalk and leery of driving on Forest Ridge Blvd. At this time, my family and I are kindly requesting solutions to make our neighborhood a safer place to be. Suggestions to make this possible may include speed cameras, increased frequency of patrol during busy times, a reduction in the speed limit, additional lighting and/or signage for curves, or possibly speed bumps. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

  • Make Edgar Middle School safe and welcoming for our children
On Thursday, my child arrived home to tell me that the 7th graders at Edgar Middle School had to sit in silence during lunchtime because of several disruptive students in the lunchroom. The students remained in the lunchroom for so long that an announcement was made that the students would be late to their next class.  This is one of a series of judgment calls made in the last year by school administration to manage student behavior (2024 police threats in classrooms is another example). Hearing these stories about our children brings forth confusion, anger, and frustration.  Even more, since last year, numerous parents have sought to meet with and learn from Edgar administration and Metuchen’s superintendent about the circumstances of these events. Very few, if any of them, received clear if any responses.  We deserve answers for our children. I am asking you to join me, and other parents, in seeking an explanation about the climate at Edgar and the rationale for the behavioral approaches we have consistently seen in the school. I believe the following areas will help us gain immediate clarity: 1. Comparison to other Metuchen schools a. Disciplinary statistics for the past 5 years, since this administration took over.  2. Follow up from the 2024 “parent survey” a. Detailed information for the fall of 2024 “parent survey” beyond the short summary provided in December 2024.  3. Comparison to NJ schools a. Results of the NJ School Climate Survey from March 2025 Many of us has tried alone. It’s time to come together.

  • HELP PUT AN END TO THE IMMORAL CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT FROM THE SEX OFFENDER ...
PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION TO HELP PUT AN END TO THE IMMORAL CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT FROM THE SEX REGISTRY.. Our Government and our Media daily bombards the senses of our nation with the idea that just because a person makes one bad step in life, they should be labeled as abnormal and abhorrent, and that they are an abomination and should be labeled as a sex offender for their eternal life. The "Registry List" has significantly triple in size in just a few short years with hundreds of thousands of people now unlawfully labeled as a "Sex Offender", at witch over 80% had did nothing that relates to "sex". Even under aged kids are now being unconstitutionally labeled as a sex offender. I strongly believe that the "Registry List" is a part of the know coming one world government 666. This is true because of the immoral and discriminatingly laws and rules that come along with the registry as a "whole" that inflects such cruel and unusual punishment, as it imprisons ones mind, body and sole in eternal bondage. And being listed, you are carefully regulated by the law and government every where you go, everything you have and everything you do. This is also true in my case as well. Which took place nearly 15 years ago. I too have been wrongfully accused of one e-mail that was never even proved I had ever sent. I was young, knew nothing of the unjust legal system, and had no idea what I was pleading to until later in life. Today, after reading the Constitution, the Supreme Court's ruling that declared the statute unconstitutional and thousands of case law, I proclaim to conclude that I am in fact innocent. Not once had I ever laid a finger on any person my entire life. Only one e-mail. And at only one time in my entire life. Only one assumption without any proof. Yet, I have spent 5 years in prison,, 3 years of probation,, thousands of dollars in fines, including being psychological and physical tortured for the past 15 years. Since than, I have lost near everything I own. I lost my house including my land. I lost all of my art and antique business I had established from over 14 years. I lost near all my belongings worth thousands of dollars. Lost my auto and other items. Since than, I've also lost my freedom from government. I've lost my peace of mind and my respect. I've lost my last name, my goals and my future. But most importantly, I nearly lost my own elder and disabled Mother and Father from a tragic accident because of the immoral government. I've also been shut out and banded from my dance class, from all art classes including being an art director and lost thousands in art. Since I've lost my business I can no longer and find work. I'm in debit over $15.000.00 As stated from the government, I will never be allowed to have anything or go anywhere my eternal life. Since than, I will be followed, tracked down, harassed, threatened, assaulted depraved, defamed, slandered and shamed. Friends no longer talk to me. I'll never be lucky to be married, or have kids. So I have no reason to prolong my life and my mind is full of death. And that's only the beginning. Even more, I have been charged just for being a care giver for my elderly and disabled Mother and Father. I have also been charged for failure to register. I've further been charged for buying a domain name for a website. I was charged as well for having a domain e-mail. I was also charged for advertising my art work on Facebook under a business name. Today, I am serving 3 years community control, 5 years probation, work hours, and over $5000.00 in fines, fees including the cost of being forced of being tracked by GPS for 5 years. After complete, I'll have over 20 years of cruel and unusual punishment for only one single e-mail that was never proved.. So if you, the people, feel a strong perceptive with emotional support, please help those in desperate need including myself and sign the petition.. Together we can put an end to the twisted Government's unlawful registry and end the mental and physical punishment and torment of those. We need to stand strong as one mighty army and declare to our government, the immoral and the impure, that we are not "Sex Offenders", but honorable people created in the image and likeness of almighty God. Thanks You and God Bless

  • Urge Edison Board to reconsider placement criteria for high school
Dear Respected Board of Education Members: We are parents of middle schoolers, mostly eighth graders, in Edison school district. We want to bring to your attention certain concerns that parents and students have relating to the current placement criteria for incoming 9th graders at J.P. Stevens High School. We understand that according to the current placement criteria, being placed in Honors level in a given subject is dependent on being in Honors level in a completely different subject. However, we do not believe that this linking of subjects is beneficial to the students' academic progress or emotional well-being. For example, placement into 9th grade Social Studies Honors is based on a student's English placement. And if a non-Honors student wants to move up to Social Studies AP level in 10th grade, it is again linked to their English grade. Similarly, for a student to be eligible for Science (Bio) Honors in 9th grade, the student must also be eligible for Math Honors as well as English Honors. And there is no possibility for a non-Honors student to move up to Science Honors in 10th and 11th grades, regardless of their score in 9th grade. As you may appreciate, under these criteria, a student who is proficient at the highest level in a given subject will not be able to pursue it at the highest level simply because the student is not equally proficient at the highest level in one or more different subjects. While all subjects are important and have some relation to one another, the considerations in the practical world are very different. For example, a Social Studies major does not necessarily need English proficiency at the highest level. Likewise, for a Science student who may end up becoming an engineer or a doctor or a scientist, English is not necessarily needed at the highest proficiency level. Similarly, for a Science student who may end up becoming a doctor, Math is not necessarily needed at the highest proficiency level. Thus, the current criteria appear to be aimed at randomly reducing the Honors class size by preventing deserving students from pursuing the very subject that they are good at in more depth. Other existing criteria, such as the steep-step assessment points calculation for PSAT/Writing and over-used teacher recommendations, only reinforce this. Under the current system, students who did not do well in 7th or 8th grade English and Math are permanently blocked from taking the entire science honors track in high school. This will not only be a disservice to the students' talents and punishing them for something irrelevant but will also adversely affect the students' emotional health. In the real world, a lot of students in 7th and 8th grade are still not mature enough to know the need to study. And preventing them from making it back to the honors track if they miss the boat in middle school will impact their self-confidence. Their motivation to advance - a critical skill to develop for success in high school and beyond - may also be lost. As one of the leading school districts in the state, we are sure that the Board would like to avoid such unintended consequences. We hope that the high school motivates every kid to excel and provides opportunities to truly develop their talents, wherever those talents may lie. We respectfully request the Board to revisit these placement criteria. Below are some suggestions we hope the Board will consider: 1. Social Studies placement should only depend on Social Studies grades and not be linked to another subject. 2. Science placement should only depend on Science grades and not be linked to other subjects. 3. Reduce the weight given to PSAT as the cut-off is too restrictive and tapping the cream of the cream. The students in our school district should not be penalized because we have such an overwhelming majority of high-achievers. Besides, the PSAT was administered for the first time this year with virtually no notice. 4. Use a continuous and proportional scale rather than a steep step one for assessment points. Currently, a score of 600 on PSAT gets 25 points in the final rubric while a score of 590 gets only 20 points. Similarly, a score of 93 on Writing Assessment provides 25 points while a score of 92 provides only 20 points. So, a student scoring merely 2 points lower in PSAT and Writing Assessment ends up losing 10 points and likely not making the honors class. This tiny difference is magnified 5 times across all 5 subjects. 5. Use teacher recommendations only to promote students. E.g., eliminate the 10-point recommendations from the rubric, and only put it back to boost the students who just miss the cut-off. Currently, more than 50% of the points (assessments and grades) already come from the teachers. Teacher recommendations are subjective and vary widely across schools and across teachers. A recommendation should not serve to demote any student. 6. Give equal weight to 7th-grade final grade as to the first 3 mark...
