A full time military you have to cover 168 hours, 7 days per week (every day is 24 hours). Saturday and Sunday are the 6th and 7th day of a military C.H.A.P.P.S. So if you have to work those 48 hours you will have to perform your duty, but you will not get paid for those 6th and 7th day. You have to be on duty for 24 hours, if needed, but you will have to accrue 4 hours for you benefits and you will have to accrue 4 hours for your pay. So in actuality your only accruing 20 hours that goes towards your benefits and 20 hours that goes towards your pay. • For part time military C.H.A.P.P.S you have to work on Saturday and Sunday and be responsible for 24 hours If needed. For this you will have to accrue 4 hours for your benefits and you will have to accrue 4 hours for your pay. • For civilian full time C.H.A.P.P.S (bargaining unit) you have to cover a 7 day, 24 hour work week, for a total of 160 hours. You need to break the work week down into 8 hour tours. Tour 1 is from 8 p at 8 p.m. You need 4 full time employees per tour. Employee 1 work days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. His 6th and 7th day would be on Saturday and Sunday. Employee 2 would have to work Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday are his 6th and 7th day. Then Employee 2 would finish his work week with working on Thursday and Friday. And then employee 3 would work Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. And his 6th and 7th day would be Thursday and Friday. Employee 4 would work Saturday. And his 6th and 7th day would be Sunday and Monday. Then he would finish his work with working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. You will have to repeat this schedule for all 3 tours, • For part time civilian C.H.A.P.P.S (bargaining unit employees) are guaranteed 20 hours of pay per week. If a part time employee worked 1 day for a full time employee the first 4 hours would go towards the full time employees benefits and then the second 4 hours would go towards the part time employees pay. And the full timer would have to give back 4 hours of pay for the part timers benefits. And the full timer would have to use 8 hours of his non clock able hours that he has accrued to go towards his pay. If a full time employee works his 6th day he is entitled to 12 hours of pay. And if he works his 7th day he would be entitled to 16 hours of pay.

  • Kristi Noem must go!
Kristi Noem’s callousness and incompetence as the head of Department of Homeland Security have cost lives and hurt communities.   As DHS Secretary, Noem has defied court orders, carried out cross-border deportations without due process, and oversees deportations that have torn families apart while brushing off oversight from the courts and Congress. Her decisions while leading FEMA hobbled FEMA’s response to the Texas flood disasters. It's clear Kristi Noem is unfit to serve the American people and must go. Add your name to the petition!

  • Repeal the Wrongful Birth Bill
Repeal the senate bill 1359 that amends title 12, chapter 6, article 12, section 12-718 which is commonly known as the Wrongful Birth Bill. • 10601 Washington Blvd. Development
The City of Los Angeles is considering to allow the building an 85 foot high, mixed use building (RAS4) at the corner of Washington Blvd. and Overland Ave. (were the Core Church is now). This development is surrounded by R3 or less zoned areas with a height limitation of 45 feet. The City has granted many variances and adjustments that allow for the building to be built on the property lines and for signage not allowed with the zoning. An MND was approved when many issues required were ignored or postponed until after development. Councilman Bill Rosendahl wants this development and has done everything possible to make sure it happens.
