The most important information for societies and civilization to be aware of now, is the level of climate changing gases such as CO2 in the atmosphere. We hereby petition all news and media outlets, especially the Associated Press, NPR, Fox, PBS, and the major Global Networks, to report the Global CO2 level on a daily or weekly basis. This report should include variations and changes that occur over a daily, weekly, monthly, and / or, yearly basis.

Alan Dershowitz has lied about material facts in the impeachment trail of Donald John Trump. Dershowitz has also gone on numerous TV shows spouting lie after lie about the facts uncovered by the House of Representatives and the Constitution itself. This is illegal and must be commended.

With the moving of classes to an online format and the change of grading to mandatory pass/fail, students are no longer receiving the quality education for which their tuition paid. In addition, with the cancellation of university events, especially senior events and commencement, students are no longer receiving the value of their student life fees. Finally, the recession created by the pandemic means that many students who rely on working to pay their tuition are suffering severe financial hardship. Therefore, tuition for the Spring 2020 semester should be refunded to enrolled students, including instruction fees and student life fees.

The statewide system of appointing guardians to manage the finances and affairs of incapacitated people has created the opportunity for widespread corruption and needs to be radically overhauled

Eric Adams was already under indictment for multiple counts of corruption. He has now gone to a new depth of corruption, cozying up with Trump to have the Department of Justice drop charges.  He is not fit to serve as Mayor—and he must resign or be removed.

Dear Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio, You have spoken out in support of so many fantastic education policies. We’re hopeful that as you begin to put your policies in place, you will work to lower the high stakes of the New York State tests for New York City students and teachers. We believe that valid assessments used thoughtfully by teachers and schools can be extremely useful. But we also believe New York’s testing program – as currently designed and practiced in grades 3-8 – is not educationally sound and should not be used to make high stakes decisions for students, teachers, principals, or schools. While there are more aspects of high stakes testing that need to be changed, we ask that you take the following actions once in office: 1. End promotion tied to test scores. 2. End middle and high school admissions tied exclusively to test scores. 3. End school report cards based primarily on student test scores. These changes won’t fix everything, but they'd be a great start in helping to lower the weight these high stakes tests are currently placing on teachers and their students.

Heavy-handed and unnecessary sanctions would kill peaceful negotiations with Iran. Senators must support President Obama's plan for diplomacy and oppose this dangerous legislation.
