The local authorities in Ferguson, Missouri have displayed that they are inept. with handling the Michael Brown murder case. Attorney General Holder we demand that you appoint a federal investigator to commence a federal investigation of the incident that led to the death of Michael Brown.

Donald Trump persists in utilizing the public airwaves to spread false, malicious and misleading rumors about the President of the United States. NBCUniversal, Comcast and all advertisers on any television program featuring Trump are complicit in the dissemination of these lies because they afford Trump a platform. We demand that Trump's programs be canceled and resolve to not patronize any company which continues to support him with its advertising dollars.

NBC needs to fire David Gregory from his role on Meet The Press. He is a Republican who speaks at GOP fundraisers, does not ask them hard questions, and always accepts the lies without challenge.

Alarms are sounding across the board over climate change. 97% of climate experts are now convinced that global temperatures are increasing. Unchecked, the impacts could be disastrous. When smoke detectors sound in a crowded theater, wrongfully shouting “false alarm” would be unthinkable. Yet as the theater fills with smoke, Rush Limbaugh is telling Americans that the alarms are false. Global warming, he says again and again on his Premiere Networks show, is a hoax. We, the undersigned, condemn his distortion of climate science as morally reprehensible and we call on you to repudiate it. We call on Clear Channel Communications, its subsidiary Premiere Networks, all affiliated radio stations and program sponsors to stop promoting dangerous misinformation and to end association with the Rush Limbaugh show.

Skowhegan P.D., we, the citizens of Skowhegan and surrounding towns, are calling on you to make an official statement about the death of George Floyd and other minorities who have been victimized by the police in this country. We feel that it is important for you to show that you stand with us, and are doing your duty as public servants. So far, the silence from your department has been deafening. The citizens of the Skowhegan area would like to see your officers mimic the actions of other police departments across the nation who have joined us in taking a knee and condemning racial violence. We would also like transparency on what you are doing locally to insure that racial profiling and discrimination is not happening in our town.
