This list is but a starting point: When we are in the streets, practicing our 1st Amendment Right-PEACEABLY-we are not to be met by our newly militarized police departments dressed in full riot gear. We want to see our legislators, our governors and mayors, our justices and our President. 2nd, campaign finance reform. 3rd, election reform and control so that Supreme Court Justices like Antonin Scalia cannot through an election to his buddies. 3a, the impeachment of the above mentioned individual 4th, the repeal of the regressive, special treatment given to the tax on Capital Gains. 5th, the prosecution of people, and institutions, such as Hank Greenberg, and especially Goldman-Sachs, for their manipulation of the wheat market in 2008. 6th, rigorous audits of all government institutions, especially the Department of Defense, in order to stop the rip off of the American taxpayer by contractors. 7th, the closing of IRS loopholes for offshore accounts. 8th, the ending of subsidies for Big Oil and Agribusiness

We need to resurect the Clinton years push to put 100,000 new police officers on the streets but this time with K9 officers on their side. This would help to cut down on crime and also put people back to work. It is an issue we all can support because of the work that K9 teams can accomplish together will make our streets safer and it is a good law and order issue. Both democrats and republicans need to be tough on crime and put people to work at the same time. Most criminals have more respect for the K9 than the human officers at times and it would keep our human police that much more safe. The rewards that these teams bring to a community is so much more than just safer streets, police dogs don't judge you or profile a person based on color, and every dog is a "anti-drug dog" by nature. Help us make this a reality in the next year.

Recently, a United States Marine was facing less than honorable discharge for writing disrespectful things on his FaceBook page about President Obama. Yet in a lot of military hospitals, food courts, doctor's offices and other offices, in VA hospital waiting rooms, etc., Fox News plays non-stop on the televisions in those spaces. THIS IS WRONG. If one soldier is going to be less than honorably discharged for writing negative things about the President, then the source of these lies and hate should not be pervasive on our bases and in our VA hospitals. The Federal Government should make it a policy to NOT ALLOW Fox "News" to be shown on their televisions and either a news channel respectful to the President and our government or a general entertainment station should be played. It is common knowledge that Fox News is an ultra right wing conservative channel that has done nothing since the campaign of 2008 to denegrate and destroy President Obama and his administration.

In light of Fukushima and Solyndra, please stop the rip-off taxpayer loan guarantees for new nuclear reactors in Georgia...and anywhere else.
