  • Fully fund FEMA and FEMA’s Fire Management Assistance Grant!
Right now, the tragic wildfires raging across Southern California have already killed dozens of people and displaced tens of thousands from their homes. Families are devastated as they watch their cherished memories—photographs, heirlooms, and personal belongings—reduced to ash alongside schools, parks, small businesses, and other pillars of their communities. Tragedies like this require swift and bipartisan action to address the crisis and support families on the ground as they fight to survive and rebuild.  Add your name to the petition to demand Congress fully fund FEMA and FEMA’s Fire Management Assistance Grant

  • More Debates for Democratic Primary
The 433% decrease in DNC sponsored debates before the primary is absurd! We should at least double the amount from 6 to 12 before this November.

  • LOCK DOWN CONGRESS in DC until a LONG TERM solution is passed.
keep them there during the holidays and beyond. they don't care if they don't get paid. they will get it back. the kick the can down the road syndrome, which has become the norm - MUST END. citizens should no longer (and the world markets) have to endure crisis after crisis - which are CREATED BY CONGRESS alone.

  • Alaska Third Party Custodian
Remove the third party custodian in Alaska. We are the ONLY state besides Hawaii with this excessive law. Not only does it make it hard to get out of jail, but non-violent citizens and people with minor misdemeanors are put on this. It's a violation of constitutional rights.

  • PEPFAR funding pause risks HIV mutations and thousands of deaths worldwide
In the words of the clinical staff in Zambia, "Do you know what this means for Zambia?  We are dead people. Dead.  Cutting or pausing HIV treatment will kill thousands of people.  And in the time that people go off their drugs their HIV will become drug resistant.  So when they start again, it won't work.  Then they'll die.  So even if we get the program restarted eventually, by that point we'll have lost decades of prgress on the epidemic, and new strains for which no drugs exist will have spread like wild fire."   Did we learn nothing from COVID?  Diseases dont stay within country borders.  This program funds our peace Corps grants that all the PC volunteers rely on.  This may even be more devastating to global health than the WHO cuts.   The Trump administration's ignorance and greed is deadly.  The US can no longer be seen as a source of scientific wisdom and goodness. PEPFAR a bipartisan Republican created program needs to remain viable to protect our health and health around the globe.
