He needs to start practicing law so that he can continue his fight for family and his community.

  • Governor Little from Idaho Should Resign for his Handling of COVID
    It’s obvious the people of Idaho have been misled by Governor Little’s response and lack of leadership with COVID. The breakdown of the hospital’s and patient care in the state is proof of his ‘Trumpian’ attitude. The breakdown has affected the hospitals and patient care in Spokane, Washington. This would not have happened if Governor Little had insisted that the people of Idaho wear masks and get vaccinated. He needs to step down or be recalled. Idaho needs new and educated leadership that cares about it’s citizens and their health and education.

    Currently only 4 percent, or 700 out of the nation's 17,000 police departments, report police-involved shootings to the FBI. There is therefore no systematic record of how many Americans are killed by guns or any other means while in police custody. As President Obama begins to address the issue as it has manifested itself in Ferguson, New York City, and across the country, please urge him to require every police department that receives federal aid to report all such incidents to the FBI.

    I ask you to withdraw your support for a tariff on our utility bills to reimburse Kinder Morgan for the cost of the Northeast Energy Direct pipeline project, or any other similar project. Kinder Morgan’s requirement of a reimbursement is a clear indication of the lack of verifiable economic viability of this project. It is wrong for government to ask the public to pay for a for-profit investment of a private corporation. I also urge you to use your influence to encourage the five other New England governors to do the same.

  • No human being is illegal
    We call upon all responsible journalists and media to stop using the derogatory term, "illegal" because no human being us illegal. Loaded words like illegal serve as a roadblock to meaningful discussion of a serious human rights issue. Journalists have a responsibility to present the news objectively. To serve the public good, this requires the use of language that is not prejudicial. Do what is right, not what is expedient. Make it your business not to use the word "illegal" in the context of the immigration debate.
