Members of Congress should vote no on the Ryan-Hatch bill for fast track authority to negotiate trade agreements. The Ryan-Hatch fast track bill threatens European efforts to uphold international law concerning Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

I am in support of Tribal Nations, farmers and ranchers in South Dakota in demanding that the South Dakota PUC allow public testimony to be heard on May 5th. I stand with South Dakota Tribal Nations, farmers and ranchers in opposition to Keystone XL.

This petition is to put a stop to the drug testing of people operating motor vechicles that swerve or weave or sway. There is already a law to stop and test people for alcohol and the additional testing would be a violation of our civil rights. Where does this invasive harrasment end. This is not a fascist country and we have had to many of our civil liberties evoked. This has to end now. It's another way to harass black people and it's wrong. Testing for drunk driving is already in place and that's enough .

The 5-4 GOP SCOTUS ruling in Citizens United is the greatest single threat to our representational democracy. That ruling made corporations the equivalent of living human beings with the same political speech rights and unlimited corporate money the equivalent of that free speech to be secretly spent to deceive voters and to make incumbent lawmakers cower. Publicly force the Republican Senate to vote on this vitally needed amendment to our Constitution so that the American people can vote Republicans out of the Congress and the White House in 2020 and make our lawmakers at every level of government accountable to their constituents and not corporations!

If you are an elected official, you will only get our vote if you are for strengthening our gun control laws and for a ban on assault-type weapons.

Tell Indiana Governor Mike Pence: End cruel and unusual punishment under the current horrific method of executions!

In 2009 NYS faced a budget deficit which they decided to close using public school funds. They created the Gap Elimination Adjustment (GEA) to pay for the shortfall, leaving our schools with no options but to make drastic cuts. Now in 2014 Governor Cuomo stated in his victory speech that NYS has a 4 billion dollar surplus. However, our schools are still suffering.

We, the undersigned, urge the Senate to repeal the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling with a constitutional amendment that allows local, state, and federal governments to place common sense limits on campaign contributions. We support political reform that places everyday Americans, not billionaire and corporate donors, at the center of our democracy.

President Obama's announcement was an important one, allowing up to 5 million people to come forward and be a part of a country that has become their home. Unfortunately, there are still at least 7 million people who are being left out. Inspired by President Obama's policy to allow everyone who has U.S. citizen children and been here for five years, I think everyone who has resided in this country for more than five years should have the opportunity to come forward and be a part of this country if they meet certain criteria. Please introduce a bill to this effect and work to get it passed as soon as possible.
