We are shocked and enraged to see Donald Trump threatening to use active military troops against Americans exercising their basic rights. The Trump administration has shown a complete disregard for the Constitution, and openly plans to use violence against the people of this country.

Using military troops against Americans is utterly unacceptable, and a threat to the foundation of our democracy as well as the safety of us all. We join with the millions of protesters taking to the streets demanding justice and stand in strong opposition to Trump’s authoritarian plan to use the military as his personal storm troopers to suppress dissent.
