Texas politicians have taken over a million dollars from PACs representing energy interests in the state. Given the behavior and announced investigation of segments of the energy sector, these politicians should redirect all gifted funds from these corporations to charities and/or mutual aid organizations that are necessary for winter storm survivors to recover from this natural disaster.
Why is this important?
These politicians are very outspoken about their Christian values. Here is a chance for them to put their money where their mouth is by returning these big checks from lobbyists into the hands of Texans who are desperately in need. Redirect this money to shelter the cold and feed the hungry.
