Urge Senator Romney to Pass Immigration Reform
In a world of turmoil and uncertainty, it is more important than ever to place family at the center of our lives and make it the top of our priorities. We petition our Utah representatives to stand with us in protecting Utah families by supporting all immigration reform bills for members of our undocumented immigrant community. This includes the Dream and Promise Act, Farm Workers Act, Essential Workers Act, and especially the US Citizenship Act of 2021, which will end the separation of families of differing immigration statuses.
While we applaud and support pathways to citizenship for select groups, such as people who came to the US at a young age, we want to ensure that our restaurant workers, healthcare workers, sanitation workers, construction workers, and all other members of our community have the opportunity to also become citizens. Undocumented immigrants are an integral part of our society. Additionally, in large part, these groups kept Utah’s economy going during these unprecedented times.

- Immigrants are vital to the State of Utah. Approximately 106,279 undocumented immigrants live in Utah, comprising around 40% of Utah’s immigrant population. / Los inmigrantes son vitales para Utah.
