We Demand a Fair First Contract - No Delays, No Divide and Conquer
We, the undersigned members and supporters of United Academics of Maryland at Chesapeake College, demand that college administration come to the table in good faith and negotiate a fair first contract without delay.
We reject any attempt to stall negotiations, deny retroactive pay, or use wage increases for non-union employees as a tool to punish or divide workers.
We are united. We are watching. And we will continue organizing until we win the contract we deserve.
Why is this important?
For nearly a year, Chesapeake College has been negotiating a first contract with the full-time faculty union. Throughout this process, the administration has engaged in anti-union bargaining tactics and delays, refusing to adequately address the needs of faculty and thus the needs of the students. Sign this petition to tell the Chesapeake College administration and president that the full-time faculty deserve a contract that is negotiated with all deliberate speed and deserve to work in an environment free from divisive administrative tactics.
