Allow Massage Therapy and Spas to re-open!
Allow Spas properly licensed and operating under the State's Laws to provide services such as but not limited to : Massage Therapy, Facials, Waxing, and all other services offered on their menus, starting as of Monday, April 27, 2020. All necessary precautions and sanitation protocols approved by the state of Alabama and the local Board of Health will be followed and the Licensing Boards for the States. Our industry needs to be recognized & deemed as an essential business so we can better serve our community.
Why is this important?
Servicing our clients this way poses little to no risk of spreading the virus, as compared to 20 or more people in a grocery store or 10 plus people at restaurants picking up food.
The survival of the independently owned Spas and their professions are at risk. We are facing a grave financial hardship.
Our industry is in the HEALTH AND WELLNESS business and is needed now if not more than ever.
