Legalize Poly and Ethically Non-Monogamous Marriages
.jpeg)
The poly community would like to be normalized and treated equally when it comes to laws on marriages and families. Ethical non-monogamous relationships should be treated and valued the same as any other monogamous or same-sex dynamic. Love is always the cure to hate, so when more than two people love one another equally, why is it shamed? According to population data, 5% of America is actively in some form of a polygamous relationship.
Why is this important?
We've asked 1,000 people why legalizing Ethical non-monogamous families, marriages and unions were important and the main three factors brought up were to gain legal recognition for all partners and children to be recognized as one family for such things as benefits. We also conclude that it is important to the growth and elevation of the world. If same-sex marriages are seen as acceptable, why aren't polygamous relationships?
Above all else, as Americans, we have the right to happiness, no matter what that looks like.
