Please reinstate Jimmy Kimmel immediately. As an American communications network you have a special obligation to the American public as well as to your shareholders.
Jimmy Kimmel only said MAGA was falsely trying to exploit Kirk’s death for political advantage. That’s 100% true and not the least bit offensive. He did not make any remarks about Kirk’s death, only about irresponsible dishonest Republicans trying to exploit it. Mr. Kimmel upheld the highest American standards of truth and public service in broadcasting. If anything, Nexstar’s action was cowardly and un-American. And likely makes them liable for millions of dollars for breach of contract for no good cause.
Your actions taking him off the air were both cowardly and will neither profit you in the long or short run. Be a responsible American and put Kimmel back on the air now.

Why is this important?
The fundamental values of Constitutional free speech guaranteed by the First Amendment have been stabbed in the heart by this illegal and false attack censoring Jimmy Kimmel. He told the truth about the dishonest misconduct of the Trump administration in their entirely false and misleading propaganda about the death of Charlie Kirk. Having the federal government threaten a network to censor speech is precisely what the First Amendment prohibits and this action threatens the very nature of our American Democracy.
