We demand that the media stop using the terms “Pro-Life” and “Right to life” to describe people who support outlawing abortion. The correct term is Anti-Reproductive Justice. Their claim to support life is deceptive as reflected in their opposition to universal childcare, parental leave and other vital requirements that would provide a safe environment for children. They are undermining our most fundamental personal freedom to control our bodies and decide whether and when to have a baby. We will provide copies of this petition to all major media outlets in the U.S.
Why is this important?
The language the media uses requires accuracy.
