  • Bostonians say NO to Lifting the Charter Cap (Question 2)
We, the undersigned students, parents and residents of Boston, urge Massachusetts voters to vote NO on ballot Question 2. If passed, Question 2 would lift the current charter cap and permit up to 12 additional charter schools each year, indefinitely, with no additional funding. Question 2 will hurt our city and our children. Its passage will • Significantly reduce district, school, and wider municipal budgets; • Increase segregation and diminish resources for English Language Learners and Students with Disabilities; • Decrease student and parent voice in the governance of our schools; • Lead to public school closures, with a disproportionate impact in communities of color. We believe that passage of Question 2 would significantly weaken families' choices for good schools in Boston, one of the top performing urban districts in the country. It would harm the public system the majority of us choose, the system that serves the largest number of our city students, including our most vulnerable children. Vote NO on Question 2.

  • Stop Abuse of Postal Workers
USPS workers have been subject to unfair and unsafe working conditions. They have been required to work, regularly, 12-17 hour shifts, 6-7 days per week, in order to handle the volume of mail that needs to be delivered, particularly packages. They are not hiring enough workers to keep up with the volume of mail. Although USPS has a union, the system allows for management to order the carriers to work such long shifts. Additionally, USPS management is not enforcing mask mandates and workers have come to work with Covid. The working conditions have taken a physical and mental toll on the workers who deserve much better treatment, particularly considering that they have been essential workers throughout the pandemic. In the United States, we should be ashamed that postal workers are not treated like machines, not human beings, and the situation is untenable. We call upon the House Oversight Committee and all decision makers for the USPS to put into place policies that protect these workers from such inhumane treatment.

  • Remove Kelly Gross From Public Office and Call Upon the DA To Arrest Her and Bernie O'Hare For th...
Dear Supporters, Kelly Gross has abused her public office in numerous instances, over the past 20 years. In the last 12 months, she has conspired to commit (and committed) felony crimes under PA CS 18 6111 of the firearms code. She has done this, with the assistance of Bernie O'Hare to deprive me of my constitutional freedoms. In doing so, she has cost the taxpayers thousands of dollars, and has destroyed the careers of three Northampton County Deputy Sheriffs. Most recently, she shared an unredacted police report with her co-conspirator Bernie O'Hare to publicize my social security number, DOB, drivers license number, address and phone number. This same police report also contained the same protected information of another West Easton taxpayer and political hopeful. Together, they posted this information online a year ago. I need your assistance to convince the DA of Northampton County that the time is now to stop sweeping these crimes under the rug.

  • Drastically shrink the military officer corps
Over the past 12 years, the officer/enlisted ratio in the US military has slipped from one officer for every six enlisted; to almost one officer for four enlisted. It was 1:10 during World War II. Meanwhile, the services complain that intelligent enlisted people leave the service because of micromanagement. Many enlisted have college degrees and become angry that they earn 50% less for doing jobs similar to officers. Officers are supposed to be executives; do we need one executive to oversee every four enlisted? There are proposals to drastically slash the officer corps to 1:20, a level found in many effective armies. While major cuts are debatable, our military should at least return to the 1:6 ratio of 1990, which would require conversion of 60,000 active officer positions to enlisted ranks This will save $2 billion a year once fully implemented. Fortunately, the Congressional Budget Office already produced a study on this in 2000. Adopt the Congressional Budget Office findings.

  • LET'S RESCUE OUR FUTURE
Our children are receiving a very antiquated education that has proven to not only bore the minds of children (even recess), but since their sponge like minds are not receiving the positive stimulation it needs to develop them as complete and capable adults, their childlike understanding gives credence to what seems lively and energetic and fun as what their minds should be concentrating on as we allow television with the cartoons promoting violence, greed, corruption, EGO, and good old fashioned trickery to achieve their greatest desires. The school teachers filming our children exploring sexual intercourse with one another at 12 and 13 years of age and younger. It is time now that a great number of us are out of work to take on the responsibility of teaching our children the MORALS, ETHICS and FAITH principles that makes them God's creation rather than man's. I AM not a petitioner, but I think the education of our future is worthy of consideration. Thank you for the opportunity to voice another one of my concerns for our nation...

  • How to Fix Congress - Reform act of 2011
We need to show Congress how we feel, support the Congressional Reform Act of 2011 as follows: 1. No Tenure / No Pension. • Abolish U.S. Court of Appeals
This petition is to demand Congress abolish the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (Appeals Court). Taxpayer dollars were used to establish a formidable Jim Crow network within the Federal Circuit that uses institutional racism. The Jim Crow network could not exist without the protection of the Appeals Court. Appeals Court judges knowingly and willingly lied to defend and preserve the use of taxpayer money for institutional racism. This court was created by Congress with passage of the Federal Courts Improvement Act of 1982. Congress appropriated about $32.5 million dollars in FY 2012 to operate this court. The $32.5 million could be better spent by providing about 125,000 head start children breakfast for about 260 days a year. Congress last abolished a court in 1913. It is about a 5-minute exercise for Congress to verify the Appeals Court judges lied to defend and preserve using taxpayer dollars for institutional racism. The law: Federal statute § 838.101; (2) in executing court orders under this part, OPM must honor the clear instructions of the court. State Court order: I was entitled to 50% of the 47.38% in retirement benefits the order stated I earned between 08-05-78 and 11-08-92. The order classified these benefits as community property retirement benefits. The order stated I was entitled to 100% of the separate property retirement benefits, defined as the retirement benefits I earned before the date of marriage (08-05-78) and after the date of separation (11-08-92). Numbers used by OPM to calculate and apportion my retirement: The Appeals Court Opinion: A GOOGLE search of United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit case 2007-3090 HORACE M. CHAMBERS, Petitioner, v. OFFICE OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT: BACKGROUND The source of Mr. Chambers’s complaint is an order by the Superior Court of California issued in connection with his divorce from Patricia Chambers. The court awarded Ms. Chambers 24 percent of Mr. Chambers’s gross monthly annuity under the Federal Civil Service Retirement System, and directed the Office of Personnel Management (“OPM”) to pay that portion of the annuity directly to Ms. Chambers. OPM found that the order was acceptable for processing, and it began sending Ms. Chambers a 24 percent share of his annuity payments The above wording by the Appeals Court clearly provides the Jim Crow process used to defend and preserve using taxpayer dollars for institutional racism. The Jim Crow network works as a team and tells the same lie to defend and preserve institutional racism. My complaint was that OPM should have rejected the state court order because it was not in accordance with Federal statute or honor the instructions for both parties as provided by Federal statute. The Jim Crow network falsely states what my complaint is in order to conceal the racist act that already occurred. I could care less what they paid ex-spouse, if it was not illegally taken from me. In accordance with the state court order I was entitled to 23.38% of the community property (47.38% - 24% to ex-spouse) and a little over 35% in separate property interest rather than the 16.04% actually used by OPM. The Jim Crow team intentionally excluded the law and the time periods specified in the state court order in order to subject me to institutional racism. Federal statute provides that I earned 1.5% for each of the first 5 years of service, 1.75% for the each of the next 5 years and 2% for each year thereafter. The court order stated that I earned 47.38% in community property retirement benefits between 08-05- 78 and 11-08-92. The 47.38% was accepted and used by the entire Jim Crow network even though by Federal statute I earned about 28% during the specified time period. In sum, these are the taxpayer funded oversight agencies that have banded together to practice, defend and preserve use of tax payer dollars for institutional racism. The individuals within have willingly and knowingly lie because there have never been any adverse consequences. If enough people sign this petition it will force Congress to dismantle the Jim Crow network within the Federal Circuit.
