Money should be raised to erect monuments to those killed by the police at the current astonishing rate (nationwide) of about ninety per day! I suggest a design competition followed by a drive to raise the funds to erect monuments in Washington, DC and Ferguson, MO. These will be a permanent memorial to those killed previously and in the future so that they cannot be easily forgotten.

When we won our independence from the British, the people wanted to make George Washington king of America. He refused and created the Presidency and declined to run for a third term. But, after President Franklin Delano Roosevelt ran for four terms, the 22nd Amendment limited any future Presidents from serving more than two terms. We need to create a new amendment for the other high-ranking offices of the government. Some Congressmen spend their entire lives in their position being re-elected over and over again until they die. We do not need our leaders wheel-chaired into office everyday. We do not need their ideals from an outdated philosophy that they adopted in their youth decades ago. Prejudice, corruption, and religious discrimination are not a part of our government. We need new blood, fresh faces, modern ideals in our government and that is why this petition suggests that all positions held in higher levels of government be limited to two terms only.
