50% of Americans received nothing from the Bush tax cuts because they paid no income tax. Since I made well under $250,000 a year my tax cut was only $600 a year. Will $600 even pay for a daily cup of coffee from the local coffee stands? The truth is we are not facing a cliff we are facing a speed bump. Let the Bush tax cuts expire and then if the republicans decide to cooperate pass a real middle class tax cut based of the FICA tax. To pay for this real tax cut remove the cap on Social Security taxes and have the upper class pay their fair share for once.

I support the local hiring ordinance for St. Petersburg. It will insure that the $150,000,000 in major public works projects coming forward also create local jobs.

Knowlingly enacting laws or changing regulations that diminish a citizen's right to vote should be prosecuted as a federal crime under the Civil Rights Act. We urge the Attorney General of the United States to investigate suspected cases of voter suppression during the 2012 election and, where appropriate, prosecute those individuals criminally for any such actions that were a deliberate attempt to discourage or deny a person that right to vote.

Consider helping Maryland's finances by reducing the tax burden for our citizens and so as we can put more funding for people, relating to health care/insurance , projects/medical research, etc. by legalizing marijuana. Many people use pain medications/alcohol, that actually affect, primarily the kidneys, liver ,etc.

We demand 2 nuclear citizen opposition positions be appointed to the commission immediately to balance this pro-nuclear commission. We demand yearly updated financial records be submitted to the NRC by nuclear power plant operators/owners, including cost projections on decommissioning and waste management.

CBS's meek apology regarding its airing on "60 Minutes" a politically skewed story about the Benghazi tragedy, a story based on questionable sources, is inadequate. When Dan Rather and Mary Mapes produced a story that aired on CBS regarding George W. Bush and his foibles and preferential treatment with the Texas Air National Guard and one of their sources was alleged to be unreilable, CBS fired Mapes and three others and Rather was forced out. Unlike the current "60 Minutes" Benghazi story, the gist of the Bush/National Guard story was true. This puts the lie to Lara Logan's claim that the only thing 60 Minutes cares about is truth. If Rather, Mapes, et al were taken off the air by CBS for reporting a true story that offended the politically powerful, Logan and the others at "60 Minutes" behind the blatantly political Benghazi story, an unvarnished attempt by powerful corporate media, to distort truth and fool the public to advance their political ends, should, at the very least, suffer the same fate as Rather and Mapes.

Return the money you made off of selling our Wild Mustangs from the Bureau of Land Management to a special fund. All proceeds to be used for building shelters at BLM holding pens, and or other improvements for our Wild Horses.
