"We the People" demand that members of Congress uphold the Constitution!
Some of our Congressional leaders have abdicated their responsibility by supporting legislation that their constituents do not agree with, and in some cases, they themselves do not agree with. As a result, many of our institutions and rights, as set forth in the Constitution, have become vulnerable. This loss of Constitutional rights is not a partisan concern, but a concern of the majority of Americans, as evidenced by statistics below. Without intervention by Congress, checks and balances are non-existent, and we move toward an authoritarian form of government.
Sign this petition to demand Congress reclaim the power vested in them by the Constitution and to which they have a duty to perform in order to protect our inalienable rights and carry out the will of the majority of Americans.
Why is this important?
If Congress uses its collective voice and voting power, it can protect critical government programs, regulate tariffs, protect the Constitutional rights of all people, and most importantly – preserve our democracy now, and for future generations.
These recent statistics tell the story of how the majority of Americans feel about the erosion of Constitutional rights and our economic stability:

74% of Americans say the right of free speech is extremely important to them, and 62% say freedom of the press is extremely important to them. (Cato Institute, Sept. 2024) - Free and fair elections:

Sixty percent of Americans say they personally worry “a great deal” about the economy. Sixty-five percent say they personally worry “a great deal” or “a fair amount” about unemployment. (Gallup, March 2025) - Economic disparity:
Seventy-two percent of Americans say they personally worry “a great deal” or “a fair amount” about the way income and wealth are distributed in the U.S. (Gallup, March 2025) - Respect for Constitutional law and integrity of established due process:

We the People are concerned about the erosion of rights set forth in our Constitution, and the breakdown of checks and balances that have helped guide our government for over 200 years. Sign this petition to demand that our elected members of Congress perform their duty to protect our democracy and uphold the Constitution, and that we fully back them in doing so.
