Why is this important?
THE DEMOCRAT PARTY FOUGHT FOR SLAVERY, PROMOTED JIM CROW, WERE AGAINST ALMOST EVERY CIVIL RIGHTS LEGISLATION UNTIL THE 60S. AS THE NATION TEARS DOWN DEMOCRAT MONUMENTS TO THE CONFEDERACY, AND DEMANDS NAME CHANGES FOR THINGS LIKE SOAP ALL THE WAY TO FOOTBALL TEAMS, AND SINCE THE DEMOCRAT PARTY IS FOR ALL OF THESE THINGS, THEN THEY MUST ALSO CHANGE THEIR NAME. THEY SHOULD HAVE ALREADY DONE IT. Black people cannot feel safe until the name changes. Everyday the name "Democrat Party" brings to mind visions of Klan Rallys, Lynchings, and the 100,000s of Republican soldiers killed in the Civil War. Its like having a party named "THE KKK PARTY". Their party platform for over 12 years included language supporting the KKK.
