DEMOCRACTIC PARTY LEADERSHIP NEEDS TO STEP DOWN ACROSS THE BOARD. THEY FAILED US
The Democratic Party Leadership in Congress and in the DNC need to resign and be replaced by younger progressives. They have repeatedly failed us. Trump did not win, the Democratic Party lost. In other countries, failed political party leaders step down. They have been stuck using 1960s political strategies against the new surge of populism led by Trump and his cronies. Picking insiders from the mainstream DNC regulars will only perpetuate Trump's victories and democracy's decline. Bring in new, younger progressives, not centrists, that have energy and can articulatea vision. America is consistent with the values that support decency, human rights,justiceand the goal of having a diverse and equitable society that promotes equity. Please do the right thing and step down. It's a time for a radical new approach, not just the same failing political strategy with a new face. We thank you for your service. Now is the time for you to move on.
Why is this important?
The DNC is voting this week for new chair. Now is the time to act. The same old people, using the same approaches, will only yield the same results-failure to save our democracy and the pain that will result from the actions of this current administration. Sleepy speeches on the floor of Congress by the current Democratic Party leadership is less than ineffective. If were going to fight for change, we need leadership that is capable of bringing it about.
