Restore (and update) the Fairness Doctrine
They must restore and update the Fairness Doctrine as a way to restore unbiased reporting.
Why is this important?
The Fairness Doctrine required all reporting to provide equal time to both sides of an issue or to clearly state “opinion” as such.
The presentation of the news (information!) is best for our nation when delivered in as unbiased a way as possible allowing the individual listener to exercise their own critical thinking as opposed to today’s style of falsely pricking open raw emotion with flamed opinion.
All opinion ought be labeled as either opinion or even for purposes of entertainment.
When those who have the privilege of public audience they have a dire responsibility to the people and by requiring them all to report in as unbiased manner as possible they would be held to this responsibility.
