Call for Trump and his enablers to resign
We call on President Trump, Vice President Pence, Attorney General Barr, all Republican Senators who voted against impeachment, and all other enablers of the current repressive Republican regime to RESIGN NOW.
The Republican party, now led by toxic and oppressive voices, has created a deeply polarized nation, abetting and reinforcing the mistreatment of African Americans and undermining the fabric of our democracy. They are responsible for dismantling and degrading protections for the environment, for workers, and for public health and safety, and they seek to manipulate all of us with lies, intimidation, and voter suppression. They must all go together in a clean sweep as we seek to create equity and justice for all. We have mentioned the top enablers, but there are many more throughout government at the federal, state, and local levels who should step down now.

Finally, we are hearing a voice from the Republican Party, acknowledging that the Republian leadership in government and congress are major contributors to the disentangling of the democratic fabric of our county. While there has never been as divisive a President as Donald Trump, every American should realize that the problem is not just with a single leader but with an entire entrenched system that has come to depend on and embrace the manipulation, intimidation, and disinformation his every word and action exemplifies. We must take action against this oppressive regime and call on all who enable it to step aside now.

How it will be delivered
Once this petition receives 10,000 signatures, let us deliver it, in person, to the White House, the Department of Justice, and to the Majority Leader in the Senate. As the originator of this petition, I will lead a group of signatories to carry our petition to each of these offices in Washington.
