Create a Federal Law making it a Federal Felony to Purposely Breed a Dog or Cat for Profit
I am asking The President of The USA to sign an executive order to create a mandatory Federal Law making it a Federal Felony to Purposely Breed a Dog or Cat for Profit.
Why is this important?
The Combined US Government agencies spends more than 2 BILLION DOLLARS a year to pick up, house, and euthanize dogs and cats in the USA.
The numbers are staggering and when yearly totals are divided up into days the number equals10,000 dogs and 4,000 cats are euthanized EVERY SINGLE DAY that is every 24 hours.
HELP ME OBTAIN ENOUGH SIGNATURES, SO THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THIS AWFUL ROUTINE WILL SEE HOW MANY OF US CARE.
This surplus of dogs and cats makes for an easily accessible storehouse for criminally sadistic individuals like in today's news when a man admits to adopting a dog off Craigslist for the sole purpose of burning her alive.
This type of cruelty is all too common and similar events are a daily occurrence in the USA.
In addition to the other negative aspects of this issue of purposely breeding dogs is that over the years, the breeds of animals, dogs and cats, that was, at one point in time, completely self-sufficient and wild is now almost completely dependent on humans on when, what and if they eat and drink; they are even told when and where or if they can empty their bowel and bladder and often if not performed to the human satisfaction are kicked, hit or screamed at regardless if given a way to do this or not. Additionally, dogs bred for profit are the sickest and lamest of all dogs.
