Defend Alabamians' Rights to Delta-8-THC

The legislature of the State of Alabama is working to ban Delta-8-THC

Delta-8-THC is a hemp-based product that sufferers of conditions such as cancer, Parkinson's Disease, veterans with PTSD, and other ailments caused by chronic conditions use to improve their quality of life.

Why is this important?

Simply put, Delta-8-THC is a legal cannabinoid from the hemp plant. We are cannabis growers, businesses, processors, and everyday people who reside in the State of Alabama.

--WHAT’S AT STAKE
Local farmers, businesses, and workers who are in the trenches, growing Alabama's burgeoning hemp industry, stand to lose their livelihoods with the passage of Alabama's HB-2. If the bill passes with the banning of Delta-8-THC, an industry that continues helping Alabamians cope through this ravaging pandemic will go out of business; local economies and Alabama's economy faces further poverty.

--WE NEED REGULATION, NOT PROHIBITION
Dust off your history books to recall how successful the prohibition of alcohol was for America a century ago.  Did it work?  Regulation is what we value to ensure better health for our democracy.  What stands now is the further prohibition of cannabis, which only perpetuates any and all forms of subjugation.

--WE BELIEVE THAT HEMP HEALS & CANNABIS MATTERS
The power of a plant threatens those who fear the healing properties hemp and cannabis bring to rebuild Alabama's agricultural and industrial centers.  We're all in this together to restore justice for all.
