Make New York Healthy Workplace Bill a Law in 2020

Provide remedies for a form of workplace discrimination/bigotry not covered by state law and shore up anti-discrimination employment legislation already on the books.

Why is this important?

The malicious harm of workplace bullying AKA academic bullying has been well known for years (not only in America but round the world). But progress for change has been painfully slow. 2020 is an important year. Let elected officials in Albany know that the time for change is now. Please support the petition and encourages others to sign.

Reasons for signing

  • Resist facism
  • I was a victim of workplace bullying I was the only male on a all female faculty it was awful I still suffer the trauma from. It.
  • As an academic who studies organizational communication, I've been reading and conducting research on the impact that workplace bullying has in the modern business for years. It's time for NYS to pass the Healthy Workplace Bill.

This is a quick note: Planning to resume publishing as regularly as I can as soon as I can during these pandemic times. I hope everyone receiving this message is prevailing as best as possible. I know of no new significantly new developments in the NYS Healthy Workplace Bill bill. I try to stay abreast of development or announcements or just plain news update with healthy workplace organizers because I know what could, is or might be happening in other North East Corridor contiguous states can effect NYS.
