In his State of the Union speech, the President announced a new task force to investigate Wall Street and bailed-out bank mortgage and securities fraud. Tragically, the group is dominated by people with multi-year track records of failing to prosecute Wall Street. The "new" group includes Lanny Breuer, head of Justice's Criminal Division, Robert Khuzami, the SEC's top enforcer, and Tony West, an AAG on the Mortgage Fraud Working Group. All three have failed to prosecute big Wall Street crooks and have histories that suggest incentives not to. New research has found that four companies -- Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Unilever, and Nestle -- are responsible for half a million tons of plastic pollution being burned or dumped every year. Furthermore, the burning of this plastic waste creates emissions equivalent to 4.6 million tons of carbon dioxide - the same that would be produced annually by two million cars. One client, per stylist/barber in the establishment at one time starting May 1, 2020. All necessary precautions and sanitation protocols approved by the state of New Jersey and the local Board of Health will be followed. Our industry needs to be recognized and redeemed as an essential business so we can better serve our community. Servicing one client at a time while both professionals and patrons, wearing masks & gloves poses little to no risk of spreading the virus as compared to 50 or more people in a grocery store or 10 or more people picking up food to go at a local restaurant.

The taxpayer-supported NYC animal shelter system (NYC ACC) is a failure - a disgrace and a blight on our city! Thousands of innocent healthy/treatable/adoptable companion animals - kittens, cats, puppies, dogs and others - are senselessly killed each year, even while life-saving alternatives exist. Some are killed upon entry or within 24 hours, some even when adoption or rescue offers have been made. A major change in New York City ACC leadership and administration is imperative. Establishment of an independent Department of Animal Welfare is essential and long overdue. Concerned New Yorkers demand a NYC ACC leadership firmly committed and dedicated to a true NO KILL paradigm, with implementation of the established NO KILL policies and programs that have proven successful in hundreds of communities around the country.

Yet there are many Computer Programmers and other IT professionals that are qualified and from America who are out of work. Americans should be allowed these jobs before we bring in so many people from other countries. It is about corporate greed in many cases. Companies will no longer spend a dime on new training for new technology for seasoned workers when somebody else can be brought in for a few dollars cheaper. It is not the ethical thing to do. It's not what our parents and grandparents, sons and daughters fight in wars for. Hard working tax paying citizens should have some rights to local jobs.

Horrific new legislation passed in Idaho removes nearly all limits on wolf hunting and authorizes hunters and private contractors to exterminate 90% of the state's wolf population. We're fighting back – and there's something you can do to help. Under a federal law known as the Pittman Robertson Act, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service gives Idaho and other states millions of dollars each year to fund state wildlife-management projects. Such conservation funds can only be entrusted to states that have demonstrated their commitment to actual wildlife conservation. Please ask the Fish and Wildlife Service to immediately notify the state of Idaho that passage and implementation of the state's new wolf-extermination law disqualifies it from future allocation of federal funds. Idaho should only receive these funds if it repeals this horrific law.

Governors from California, New York, and Washington have launched a coalition committed to the carbon reduction efforts called for under the Paris Agreement, which has been joined by a total of 12 states and Puerto Rico. We need Kansas to step up and join this coalition to make the world a better place.

Drivers over 80 should be road tested every two years and those over 85 should be tested every year. This should be by appointment because if they don't show up perhaps they are not cognizant enough to be driving; it would also create new jobs, either full or part time, depending on the area.
