It is the the responsibility of Congress to fund the government in a timely fashion so that government can efficiently plan and implement the production of its services. The Senate and House shall pass a budget for all mutually agreed upon governmental services through both houses and ready for presidential signature by December 1, 2013, for this budget cycle and October 1 of each year thereafter. If the Senate and House fail to pass such a mutually agreed upon budget, then the prior year's fully funded budget shall remain in effect until a new budget is passed.

To President Obama: You have stated your opposition to Russia's new anti-gay law. We, the below signed, want you to show your opposition by openly wearing a Gay Pride Pin on your lapel while in St. Petersburg, Russia. We know that the U.S. flag pin should take precedence, but we want you to place the Pride Flag in appropriate relationship to the U.S. flag on this special occasion to make a statement in support of free speech as well as human rights for the LGBT community.

THE CONSTITUTION STATES THAT ALL CITIZENS HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE. THE NEW VOTER REGISTRATION LAWS RECENTLY PASSED VIOLATE THAT RIGHT. THESE LAWS ARE DESIGNED TO REPRESS VOTER RIGHTS BY PLACING UNNEEDED BURDENS ON THE VOTER AND OR THOSE THAT WORK TO REGISTER VOTERS. THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE NEEDS TO STRIKE DOWN THESE LAWS AS THEY DISCRIMINATE THE POOR, THE ELDERLY AND MINORITIES. WHILE THESE LAWS ARE REVIEWED STATE BY STATE, THE D.O.J. NEEDS TO IMMEDIATELY PLACE A HOLD ON THEM AND FORCE THESE STATES TO RETURN TO THEIR FORMER PRACTICES ON VOTER REGISTRATION BY INDIVIDUALS AND BY ORGANIZATIONS THAT WORK TO HELP REGISTER VOTERS.

Why is the Department of Developmental Services spending more money on institutions that continue to decrease in client numbers every year, rather than directing that money to regional centers and community organizations? Why are you proposing to spend more money to support operations of these State institutions without taking into account the diminishing population in the Developmental Centers, and their role in California's commitment to its developmentally disabled citizens? Please justify your new spending costs for the State Developmental Centers on the basis of client care and service needs. We are listening.

Safe Harbor Water Power quietly plans to sell land in Washington Boro, PA where Susquehannock and other Native tribes lived for thousands of years, along the Susquehanna River. This is a sacred site due to Native burial grounds. It also has been an important archaeological site. It is important to our history to preserve these sites of our ancestors. Building new houses on them destroys an important part of this nations history. Our children need to understand the contributions to this land that the Native Americans provided. Reverse regulations, passed by Nashville’s Metropolitan County Council in June 2010, that: * Require $45 minimum fare * Require companies to dispatch only from their places of business * Prohibit leasing of new vehicles * Require companies to take all vehicles off the road if they are more than seven years old for a sedan or SUV or more than ten years old for a limousine. These regulations threaten to put Nashville’s affordable car services out of business, and they are driving up the cost of car service by 80 percent or more.

We would suggest that a member of Congress, House or Senate, not serve more than two consecutive terms under a national policy. There would have to be safeguards in place such as staggering of elections, so that at no time would we ever have an entirely new face in government. Currently, there appears to be strong support for this measure by almost everyone except those in Washington DC, including lobbyists. Please show your support for a strong, honest government that is once again FOR THE PEOPLE and not just the players in Congress. Help to ENACT TERM LIMITATIONS NOW!

Dear Nobel, We believe that the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded in good faith to President Obama. We also believe that President Obama has not honored that good faith by failing to honestly investigate torture committed by the US Government. Failing to investigate going to War with Iraq. Failing to end the War's in Iraq and Afghanistan and starting a new war, without Congressional approval, in Libya. This is not the behavior of an individual worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize and we the undersigned encourage Nobel to rescind the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to Barack Obama.
