Change the law. Kansas does not allow initiation and referendum (I&R). Kansas citizens cannot petition the legislature into action, or put a question to voters on the ballot.
Why is this important?
Currently, Kansas voters cannot petition the state government for change. All four states surrounding Kansas have initiation and referendum, yet Kansas does not. Please sign and tell Kansas lawmakers WE WANT CHANGE!
Let Kansas citizens propose our own ballot questions and initiate our own laws.
