My daughter lost her rights to her 4 children and has taken 275 Drug Tests and they have been Negative for drugs and alcohol . She has an Appeal in with The Supreme Court that shows all the errors that The Court and DHHR made. The Supreme Court Law states that The DHHR Mandates in their adoption Policy, That a Child be Placed with a Blood Relative over a Non Blood. I am The Maternal Grandmother and have had NO Contact Direct or Indirect in almost 3 years.I am fighting for Guardianship of these 4 children.

It’s known as the “revolving door.” Many government officials responsible for overseeing Wall Street are — wait for it — former Wall Street executives. It turns out the Big Banks even give big bonuses to executives who go slumming in government. Of course, these ex-executives often seem more interested in staying cozy with their former employers (who they’ll probably go back to work for anyway) than enforcing the law. Meanwhile, regulators who didn’t come from Wall Street in the first place are constantly wooed by the prospect of lucrative job offers to leave public service and go to work for the financial institutions they’re supposed to be keeping an eye on. Thankfully, a bill recently introduced in Congress — the Financial Services Conflict of Interest Act — would jam the revolving door between Wall Street and federal regulators. This commonsense package of ethics reforms would: - Prevent new agency officials from taking official actions that directly benefit their former employers. - Prohibit Wall Street firms from offering “golden parachutes” to executives who take government positions. - Restrict former regulators from lobbying for two years. - Require departing bank examiners to wait at least two years before taking a job with any bank they oversaw. Senator Elizabeth Warren noted that the Financial Services Conflict of Interest Act is “a bill any presidential candidate should be able to cheer for.” And, in fact, Democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley have both already endorsed the measure. Hillary Clinton should make it clear that she supports this much-needed legislation, too.

As a native of New Jersey I find it totally unacceptable I should have to pay to gain entrance on any public beach. Every other state has found a way to allow all beaches to be free, clean and guarded. Tell our legislators to correct this flawed system.

In 1998 my daughter was violently beaten and shaken to death. The person accused was charged with 2nd degree murder and was found "not-guilty" due to reasonable doubt. Her autopsy, as well as the evidence provided to the court, clearly showed that she was abused. And the results of her autopsy were ruled as a homicide. Her life was taken, and the accused is living as if nothing happened because of a technicality. THIS MUST STOP as our lives have when she was taken from us.

Scuttling the Iran nuclear deal would create more instability in the Middle East. The war with Iraq was a mistake in which many Americans and innocent Iraqis died; let's not let that happen again. I don't believe the attack ads on this deal because there are too many people who are knowledgeable about the agreement and who support it. Diplomacy is the right solution. Please don't give in to the well-financed lobbying campaign against the Iran deal. Vote in favor of the Iran nuclear deal in September.

"Redskins" is, and always has been, a derogatory term that denigrates a race of people. Its use for commercial purposes is detestable and Maryland should not be providing a platform to promote it. License plates are not about an individual's first amendment right to free speech. The Supreme Court ruled that State-issued tags are a government sponsored forum rather than a public forum and, therefore, the applicable standard is governmental speech. Legally, owners and fans may be free to call the team by whatever odious name they want in public. But Maryland has no obligation to condone their bigotry by including it on its plates.

President Obama's proposed new rule to reduce carbon pollution is exactly what we need. It's about clean air. Our children's health depends on it. It's about climate change. The planet is heating up, and we have to reverse it. It's about time. We must act before it's too late. Republicans in Congress are peddling junk science, pretending climate change isn't happening, and acting on behalf of the Koch brothers and the coal industry. Please join me in standing with President Obama -- and tell Republicans in Congress to back off. Climate change is a fact. And America must lead the way.

Jeb Bush’s six point plan on immigration reads more like an enforcement plan than a viable alternative to fix our broken immigration system. Bush’s plan is a clear departure from his own claims about immigrants coming to the United States as an “act of love,” and further exemplifies how he is willing to prioritize politics over real solutions and relief for the eleven million undocumented immigrants residing in the country. Having repeatedly stated that he plans to do away with President Obama’s executive actions on immigration, Jeb Bush is demonstrating that he plans to continue the same failed approach that many in the Republican Party have proposed before --- enforcement first, relief never. Immigrant communities need real solutions, not half baked proposals. Leadership on this issue should be demonstrated by providing concrete steps that ensure that families will not be torn apart by a broken system. Jeb Bush needs to be clear about his immigration reform plans!

The Commonwealth of MA average expenditure per pupil for education was $14,525 in FY 2014. Wachusett Regional School District average expenditure per pupil was only $11,131. This difference is due to an unfair state funding formula which negatively impacts the quality of education available for residents in this district and overburdens our towns municipalities. Please help bring WRSD funding to the state average and fix this problem.

Sharks are threatened worldwide, largely driven by the shark fin trade. As many as 100,000,000 sharks are being killed each year. Airlines play a major role in allowing import and export of illegal, unregulated, and unreported seafood products like shark fin. Twenty-six other major air carriers have said they will not ship shark fin. Help save the world's and Malaysia's sharks by stopping this unsustainable trade.

George Bush and Dick Cheney started a war in Iraq based upon the lie that they were hiding weapons of mass destruction. Men, women, and children died in that war, and now ISIS is thriving in the region, in addition to costing an insane amount of taxpayer money, we should hold these two accountable and have them tried for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
