HAVE AMERICAN DOG CLUB SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD! Yes, right next to Build-a-Bear in the Smith Haven Mall. Anyone with a functioning nose KNOWS that the smell of that place screams unsanitary, abuse, and laziness. Those teeny little boxes with metal bars as the ground that display these poor pups are no way to live a life. The dogs drink out of little hamster water droppers. The newspaper that barely covers half of the ground is so dirty that the store can be smelt when entering that part of the mall. Each time I go in there, I see about 30 people hovering over the dogs and tapping the glass. The people in this world need to open their eyes and STOP being so selfish. You have no idea how far a small gesture can go. By signing this petition, we can get all of those puppies healthy again and into a safer environment.

Let's awaken the American public about the consequences of drug use after a period of sobriety, focus on relapse prevention and do something about the opiate trafficking in the US. My beautiful son Colin Grady Finn, 19 years old, died from ten dollars of a lethal dose of heroin. He had just picked up a year chip for being clean and sober and never had any history with that drug. He was in a good place and we and all his counselors thought he was well. On 8/8/14, he slipped. He paid the highest price. He had his whole life in front of him. I believe he had no idea what was could potentially happen. Something needs to be done to educate others.

The residents of San Pedro want to be heard; we do not want any more lane reductions. The lane reductions are causing extra traffic and longer commute times as well as extra pollution from idle cars.

My petition is about demanding that local channel official Ben Sherwood on resuming two cancelled soaps: All my Children and One Life to Live that we don't want an all news daytime lineup!

Caltrans has ranked the intersection at El Camino Real and Rosedale/Ray Drive to be one of the two most dangerous intersections in Burlingame. We need to safeguard our children and other pedestrians from potentially fatal traffic accidents. The Burlingame City Council and Burlingame School District are considering a crossing guard for this intersection during school/commute times. Please sign to show your support.

Jordan Cove and Oregon LNG cannot build the terminals or pipelines without a Clean Water Act Section 404 Permit. The Army Corps can deny the permit if it determines that the projects are not in the public interest. Neither of these proposed projects are in the public interest and, therefore, should not be constructed. Further, Clean Water Act Section 401 empowers states to decide if federal permits comply with state laws designed to protect water quality, fish, and other aquatic life. The Corps cannot issue the critical in-water work permit (aka “Clean Water Act Section 404 Permit”) if DEQ denies 401 certification.

On Friday, January 2nd, Israeli far-right settlers from the illegal Adei Ad outpost in the West Bank stoned two cars belonging to the staff of the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem. [1] The U.S. consulate has video documenting the settlers’ attack. [2] U.S. diplomats from the consulate were asked to examine olive saplings belonging to Palestinian farmers—some of whom are U.S. citizens—from the village of Turmus Aya, north-east of Ramallah, that had been uprooted overnight Thursday by settlers, Security officials from the consulate arrived in the area ahead of the diplomats but were forced to leave by the attacking settlers. As a result of the settlers’ violent attack, the consular officials cancelled their visit. Thus – so far – the far-right settlers have been able to evade responsibility for their previous violent and illegal actions by using even more violence. Urge President Obama and your representatives in Congress to fully investigate this incident by signing our petition. Richard Being treated unfairly, never receiving justice of any kind...After government discrimination...

For the last century, New Jersey law has required sales of public water systems to go before the voters. The idea is that politicians shouldn’t just be able to sell off what generations of New Jerseyans built together, and that the public should have the right to review any sale of a resources as fundamental as water. But the New Jersey Legislature just passed a bill that cuts voters out of the picture. Instead of making the case for these sales to the voters, multinational water companies want to work exclusively with the elected officials whose campaigns they help bankroll. Selling off water systems might provide a one-time infusion of cash to towns and cities, but it's the ratepayers who end up paying the cost. Water companies can make sky-high bids with the full knowledge that they can raise rates to cover the cost of the purchase. This is a blatant attack on democracy and local control, and a veto is our last chance to stop it.

My three children all adore Coach Will! Being a single mother of three with limited income, Coach Will has provided so much for them and all positive. They love him!. It will be a shame to let someone like him walk out of our children's lives. He's a positive role model that I want my kids to learn from!
