• Democrats prove yourself.... change our economy
We need an economy that works for our world and will sustain ourselves and future generations for centuries to come. We cannot depend on huge global corporations to work in the best interest of our planet when the goal is to make more and more money. We need to find a new way, where people earn fair wages doing work that helps themselves, their families, their communities and moves us forward to making the world a better place for all.

  • STUDENT LOANS
Our educated men and women are buried in debt by student loans. We should encourage education and not punish it. Our communities will benefit if money and services go back into our communities and not just to the banks.

  • Government program to put power lines underground
One of the principal reasons for power outages during recent natural disasters was fallen powerlines, felled by wind, tree branches, and snow. Power outages and trimming trees should no longer be part of business as usual for power companies. Let's put in place a tax incentive plan that puts people to work exclusively on putting those lines underground.

  • Save Social Security and Medicare
These are not entitlements/gifts. We have paid for these each working year of our lives. Many of us don't have pensions that come with health care, or even pensions. Our employees dumped pensions long ago. How else will we survive without these paid for benefits? It will be a feat to even retain employment until 65/66/67 with age discrimination. Many of us could work until 70 or later, but what are the odds we would have our employment continued, or could find a job after 50? Please take up our cause.
