  • Constitutional Amendment to Repeal Citizens United
    The U.S. Supreme Courts decision called Citizens United has undermined the foundations of our democratic society in so much as special interests feel they can buy the government and representitives. It is essential that we end this threat to our country as quickly as is possible. I don't want my government up for sale. I don't want big money interests manifesting themselves in the form of Grover Norquist to control public officials. I would also ask that operations such as Grover Norquist be outlawed since it corrupts members of government.

  • Governor Rick Scott of Florida
    Rick Scott took away six days of early voting including the Sunday before election day. He also purged the voter rolls. Rick Scott has been disrespectful to the citizens of Florida. He refuses to implement the Affordable Care Act. Rick Scott is contemptuous of the people of Florida. He needs to exit this office.

  • No racist group signs on the highways.
    In Kentucky, due to the Adopt-a-Highway program, the state posts signs for free for any group, their is no discrimination, if they agree to clean up a 2 mile stretch of Highway at least twice a year. In the county where I live the National Socialist Movement--a "whites only" group, got a sign posted by the state for free by volunteering to clean the highway. I cannot in good conscience believe that this is the best way to keep our highways clean.

    Canada has repeatedly denied Fox News a license to broadcast in that country because they have truthfulness in journalism standards. In Canada a publicly licensed broadcaster may not broadcast any false or misleading news. Imagine that? The public owns the airwaves - what if we demanded the truth from ALL sides? Wouldn't that be a good starting point? Reagan abolished the truthfulness in the media. We used to believe the airwaves belonged to the people, now it belongs to corporations or Super Pacs. Let's make the liars accountable.
