My co-workers and I, who work at the Fund for the Public Interest in Portland, voted to unionize 11 months ago, but we are still without a first contract. Social Security limits the amount of earnings subject to taxation through FICA contribution". that way everyone earning income in the U.S.A. pays into Social Security from January 1 thorugh December 31. This will not only create a positive infusion of revenue into Social Security, eliminate any need to reduce benefits, or age, to receive benefits but will also create jobs in that more people will be willing to retire knowing that Social Security is safe

In Freeport, Ill. Sensata Technologies, a company owned by Bain Capital, is sending 170 workers’ jobs to China. To add insult to injury, Bain is even forcing the Freeport workers to train their Chinese replacements. A group of the workers have organized to garner support for the “Bring American Jobs Home Act”, a common sense bill that gives American workers an even playing field by replacing tax loopholes for companies that send jobs overseas with financial incentives to bring jobs back to America. On Tuesday, the workers caught up with Schilling but the Congressman refused to answer their simple yes or no question and then walked out of his own town hall meeting to avoid further questions. My Petition is for children in poor committee and the teacher who now that they have bright student in there class rooms. I have nothing against Charter Schools, but before there where charter schools, public schools where just great. Until Corporation came into the picture. Being from a poor committee my mother work with her five children and went to school her self. to learn how to help her children, and work with the Teacher. I went to a college that was not accredited, and not only did it ruin my credit but wasted my time. I could have been going to a real college to get a better job so I can pay back this loan.

On wednesday 26 September 2012 the Austin Peay State University (APSU) Office of Career Services will be hosting a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) recruitment event on campus. The CIA has a history of recruiting students and professors to spy on other students and faculty, performing unethical mind control experiments on students (Project MKUltra), as well as a long list of repeated violations of human rights and international law. Activities such as these are unacceptable and will not be tolerated at APSU. We are calling on the campus administration to uphold the student code of conduct and not allow the CIA on our campus.

Frivolous claims of 30,000 dead voters on the rolls in North Carolina by a tea party group called the Voter Integrity Project. Considering the last election was won by just over 14,000 votes in North Carolina. The company claims to be a Non-partisan, Non-profit organization, but they are listed on the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State website as a Business (BUS), and as a business, their tax returns are private. We may never know who's funding them.
