  • Sen. Roy Blunt: Time to dump the NRA!
It is about the gun lobby buying the support of key legislators while pushing more firearms on the streets, which have been used to kill over 160 people this year alone in St Louis, MO.

  • Senator Roy Blunt: bought by the NRA
I am sick of elected officials working on behalf of lobbyists and not their constituents.

  • Rep. Stephen Lynch: take no money from the NRA!
As a citizen of Massachusetts and a Democrat I believe that Rep. Lynch should return the $555.00 he has received from the NRA, and disavow any future support from them. The NRA has created ads over the past year with thinly veiled threats of physical violence towards those who stand up to the fascists who have overtaken our democratic system and government. No politician should take any of their blood money.

  • Senator Portman: Three million from the NRA? Really?
Senator Rob Portman has received $3,061,941 in NRA support. How many have to die before Congress takes action? The NRA has deep pockets, but what if Congress didn't take any of it? I think that would change the dialog. We nee commonsense legislation to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill. We need common sense gun laws that keep them out of the hands of domestic abusers. We demand action today.

  • Rep. John Katko, reject the NRA
Rhetoric form the NRA has become downright scary! Now more than ever, we must get them out of our politics. Getting our representatives to reject them would be an excellent first step.

  • Representative Dave Reichert: Return NRA contributions
We've seen an escalation in gun violence in all areas of life, and in more mass shootings with larger and larger amount of dead and injured. NO one has a need for an assault rifle and other military type weapons.

  • Rep. John Carter: Return contributions from the NRA
We and our families live in fear of assault rifles and massive amounts of ammunition falling into the hands of murderers, as seen recently in Sutherland Springs, Las Vegas, Sandy Hook, and other places. It's time to stop talking and praying and act. My representative, John Carter, has received $27,014 in NRA support. Demand Representative John Carter give back or donate the money you received from the NRA to a group that supports the victims of gun violence.

  • Senator Ron Johnson: Give back NRA campaign money
Our elected officials should not be accepting campaign contributions from the National Rifle Association. How can they be unbiased on NRA matters that come before them if they are receiving NRA money. We sent them to Washington to work on our behalf. Ninety percent of voters say they want background checks on all gun sales. And yet, the people we send to vote on our behalf do nothing to protect the American people from the proliferation of guns.
