When Donald Trump came to the defense of white supremacists and Neo-Nazis, he crossed a threshold from which he can't return. Republicans like Rick Baker must disavow Donald Trump immediately. Rick Baker's refusal to challenge Donald Trump is nothing new. Baker has never once condemned Trump for any of his statements--from the outset of Trump's campaign to this very day. However, Trump's most recent remarks stating that there were "many fine people" among the white supremacists and Neo-Nazis who converged on Charlottesville was beyond the pale. Rick Baker must disavow Donald Trump's defense of white supremacists. If Rick Baker won't stand up to Donald Trump when he defends Neo-Nazis, at what point will Rick Baker be willing to tell our President that he is wrong? Or will Rick Baker stay silent on these issues at the behest of his GOP donors?

We have all been affected by the threats and lies this man spews out daily. There should not be a public forum for his abusiveness and violence. He should be held to the same set of rules all others are in any medium.

Capitulating to his generals, President Trump has agreed to send thousands of more American soldiers to Afghanistan, even though experts agree that the war in Afghanistan is unwinnable. [1] The only realistic alternative to endless war in Afghanistan is a negotiated peace that includes all the major Afghan factions and all the neighboring countries that are supporting major Afghan factions in the Afghan civil war, including Pakistan, India, Iran, and Russia. The Obama and Bush Administrations never seriously pursued a negotiated peace. So far, the Trump Administration is simply continuing the Bush-Obama policy of adding just enough American soldiers to prevent the Taliban from completely taking over Afghanistan, without doing anything diplomatically and politically to end the war. People fighting in their own country are almost always more patient than foreign soldiers.
