• Boycott Netanyahu's address to Congress
I think it is abhorrent that protocol was breached on such a sensitive issue. For politics to enter the area of diplomacy like this sets a dangerous precedent and should be dealt with immediately.

  • Boycott Netanyahu Address
Inviting Netanyahu to address Congress violates the separation of powers-- our nation's foreign policy should be led by one person, the president. Boehner’s invitation impairs our nation's ability to negotiate with other countries, shows complete disrespect for President Obama, and sets a terrible precedent. Boycotting the session would be a powerful symbolic gesture demonstrating your disapproval for the invitation.

  • Sen. Menendez: Stop Trying to Kill the Iran Talks
New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez has been working overtime to try to recruit Democrats to help Republicans destroy the possibility of a diplomatic agreement with Iran over its disputed nuclear program. But now he’s gotten so extreme, he’s virtually accusing Obama Administration officials of treason. Following President Obama’s pledge to veto Senator Menendez’ new Iran sanctions bill – which President Obama said “will all but guarantee that diplomacy fails” - Menendez said the Obama Administration’s stance “sounds like talking points that come straight out of Tehran." [1] [2] Sen. Menendez’s actions must be condemned. Join us in telling Sen. Menendez to stop trying to kill diplomacy by signing our petition. • Netanyahu Is not Welcome In The U.S. Congress
The petition is about my personal disgust that Netanyahu is coming to speak to Congress even though it's just a propaganda tactic orchestrated by Boehner. Netanyahu is coming to the U.S. at the same time to speak to AIPAC, which is another breach to democracy.

  • Congress: Netanyahu is not our president
Once and again we are hearing the drum beats of war . Not from the Americans who work every day and expect their hard earned money to be used for schools , Hospitals and road . No the call to war is once again coming from a foreign government that want our tax dollars and the lives of our youth to serve in their interest. the reach of this government is so pervasive that their president has been invited to give his version of the state of the union address to congress. We need to disallow this kind of practice and put our government back in the hands of Americans.

  • Take Back America From AIPAC, Remember The USS Liberty
Here is a flushed out campaign/protest march for groups to organize with other like-minded individuals/groups such as If Americans Knew, Truthout, Council for the National Interest, International Solidarity Movement, Palestine Festival of Literature, Rachel Corrie Foundation, Code Pink, Amy Goodman, Noam Chomsky, Electronic Intifada, Breaking the Silence, Stop the War Coalition, International Communities Against Israel, Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) Movement, Films for Action, et al in Washington for February 11, 2015 This is when Binyamin Netanyahu of Israel addresses Congress and the objective of this approach is to not only raise awareness but bring to the forefront, the average American’s disgust with the seeming way that Israel through AIPAC has corrupted America’s body politic by its stranglehold on representatives of America’s Congress. The approach below will force members of Congress to not just stand up against AIPAC but directly to challenge it by putting on the table the issue of the potential cover-up of the USS Liberty. Here are the broad outlines: Take Back America From AIPAC, Remember The USS Liberty Protest March Is everyone else as disgusted as the average American is at the way that Speaker of the House John Boehner is seemingly betraying an American President like Barack Obama for the interests of a foreign power called Israel by inviting that racist apartheid nation’s leader, Prime Minister Netanyahu, to address Congress, in a direct slap to the President of America? Is everyone as disgusted as the average American is at the way that both Republican and most Democratic politicians grovel down before the cult of AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee)? Since 1967, when 34 Americans were wounded and hundreds injured in a pre-planned and methodical attack by Israel on the American ship, the USS Liberty in international waters (which REMAINS to this date the ONLY incident where a FOREIGN power has ATTACKED American servicemen and where CONGRESS has SHIRKED its RESPONSIBILITIES and NOT taken the TESTIMONIES of American SURVIVORS under OATH), Israel has been able to corrupt America’s body politic in a way that is absolutely astounding. It is time to take back America from the Israel-Firsters in Congress like John Boehner that seem to be slavish lapdogs of the cult of AIPAC, and care more for Israel and Israelis than for America and for Americans. If you feel the same way, then get involved with other Americans (but especially Veterans), and start organizing a massive Protest March for the heroes of the USS Liberty (both those dead and those remaining survivors), to the National Mall on February 11 - the day Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel is scheduled to address Congress, or another day if changes ensue to the speech date of the Prime Minister of Israel ensue. This should culminate with speeches at the National Mall simultaneous to when the Israeli leader (and NOT an American one), addresses Congress. At the same time, efforts should be made to mobilize residents of the various Congressional and Senate districts to phone/write to their representatives in order to demand that they introduce a motion on the same day that Netanyahu is scheduled to address Congress related to honouring the dead and remaining survivors of the USS Liberty as well as to obtain the testimonies of the survivors under oath. NOTE: those Americans that live in or know someone that lives in John Boehner’s District should phone/write to the Senator’s Office to demand that he allow the motion related to the USS Liberty to be introduced and NOT take any steps to block such a possible motion from being tabled/voted on as it is not a partisan issue but is only just and long overdue to honour Veterans of the USS Liberty who have put their lives on the line and have been dishonoured for too long by their own country for the seeming interests of a foreign nation called Israel). The motion that needs to be tabled should at the very minimum require that the United States Congress and Senate: 1. Condemn Israel for its unwarranted and what many "expert authorities" call a pre-meditated attack on the American naval ship, the USS Liberty, in international waters where 34 Americans were killed and hundreds wounded in a methodical attack.lasting for a substantial period of time 2. Honour and record by individual name the victims of Israel’s attack in international waters on the USS Liberty in Congressional records 3. Honour and record by individual name the existing survivors in international waters of Israel’s unwarranted attack on the USS Liberty in Congressional records 4. Authorize a formal process under an existing and appropriate Congressional Committee to take under oath the testimonies of the remaining survivors of Israel’s murderous attack on the USS Liberty This effort will not only raise awareness but bring to the forefront, the average American’s disgust with the way that Israel has corrupted America’s body politic by its stranglehold on representatives of America’s Congress. People start organizing now if you want to take back America from the Israel-Firsters of the cult of AIPAC and make Congress (which has dishonoured the memories of the victims and the survivors of Israel’s murderous and methodical attack on the USS Liberty for far too long), accountable to Americans. Everyone concerned (but especially Veterans), should get involved, and make the slogan for the massive March on February 11 as: TAKE BACK AMERICA FROM AIPAC, REMEMBER THE USS LIBERTY! http://www.gtr5.com/

  • We have had ENOUGH. UN MINUSTAH out!
My 16 year old cousin Gerald Gerald was found hanging from an almond tree on the Nepalese base of MINUSTAH in Haiti. MINUSTAH hid out and gang-raped an 18-year old Haitian boy. Enough is enough, they need to LEAVE. If an army was paid $880 million a year to “protect” your peoples but they instead raped, abused, bullied, molested, murdered, humiliated, and disrespected them, would you still keep them around? This is why The Haitian people have been holding countless protests and demonstrations DEMANDING the UN “peacekeeping” force to leave!!! Washington controls the UN and the International Financial Institutions in Haiti. The UN is in Haiti to serve US-Euro imperial interests. Their mission is to destabilize and to stop the masses from exercising their human rights and the most powerful political party in Haiti - Fanmi Lavalas. United Nations head Ban Ki-moon was even personally served court papers for a class action lawsuit demanding UN compensation for the deadly cholera epidemic it brought to Haiti in 2010. I am not asking for any pity nor any charity. We are beyond exhausted with dealing with paternalism, abuse, and oppression-- this just being one out of many. Thousands of people have been protesting, yet it falls to ears that choose to go deaf. I prayed hard before creating this petition only because I believe and I finally want for justice to prevail; us to make decisions for ourselves, FOR THE PEOPLE, and stop the international powers from putting us at a disadvantage FOR THEIR PROFIT! Please, I urge you, to help Haitians and the Haitian Diaspora pressure US, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, UN Watch President Mark Lagon, UN Ambassador Alfred Moses to demand the force’s departure. Here are just A FEW of the tireless violations that our people have endured: UN Ambassador Alfred Moses. [email protected] 1. On February 18, 2005, three MINUSTAH Pakistani soldiers in Gonaives raped a young girl; 2. On March 20, 2005, Tele Contact radio journalist Robenson Laraque was fatally wounded by bullets fired by MINUSTAH soldiers who had replaced the military from the old police station in Petit-Goave; 3. On November 26, 2005, a young woman was forced to fellate a Jordanian soldier before being raped and sodomized by him; 4. On December 20, 2006, a student at the Center for Economic Education and Classic (CFCE) was injured in his left eye by projectiles fired by MINUSTAH soldiers as he passed close to the police station in Delmas 62; 5. On November 3, 2007, 111 Sri Lankan officials were implicated in cases of abuse and exploitation of minors; 6. On May 29, 2008, police officer was molested by MINUSTAH soldiers; 7. On August 6, 2008, MINUSTAH soldiers beat two policemen both assigned to the Cite Soleil police station. 8. On August 18, 2010, a 16 years old orphan, was found hanging from an almond tree on the Nepalese base of MINUSTAH in Carenage, Cape Haitian. This boy usually rendered small services to MINUSTAH agents; 9. In mid-October 2010, the Nepalese MINUSTAH soldiers in Mirebalais were involved in the emergence and spread of cholera in Haiti due to release of their human wastes into the rivers Boukan Kanni and Jenbe, causing considerable loss of life; 10. On May 12, 2011, a 14-year old student was injured by two projectiles fired by MINUSTAH soldiers. Please join me and help our peoples find justice. Sign, and tell UN and US powers to orchestrate the UN MINUSTAH’s departure.

  • We oppose Israel PM Netanyahu addressing the US Congress on Iran
The purpose of this petition is to stop Israel's control on the US. We cannot afford another war for financial and human life reasons. Israel/Netanyahu and the rest of the right wing Zionists who are land hungry have an agenda of land grabbing and making Israel bigger for all the Jews to come. Netanyahu is a war criminal who is running an apartheid country and I do not want someone like that influencing our politicians and dictating what we should do. I strongly oppose the 4 billion dollars we give Israel and feel we should use that money helping Americans.

  • Stop Congress from Rushing to War with Iran!
The U.S. Senate is poised to take up dangerous new sanctions legislation that would sabotage diplomacy and could lead to war with Iran. As President Obama explained, “New sanctions passed by this Congress, at this moment in time, will all but guarantee that diplomacy fails... It doesn’t make sense. That is why I will veto any new sanctions bill... The American people expect us to only go to war as a last resort, and I intend to stay true to that wisdom.” Tell the Senate to support Obama’s call for diplomacy, not war, with Iran! Introduced by Senators Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and Mark Kirk (R-IL), this legislation is a renewed push for the very same reckless, diplomacy-killing sanctions that we fought and helped prevent last year. New sanctions would violate the interim nuclear deal, push Iran away from the negotiating table, and put us on the path to war with Iran. If Congress passes a new Iran sanctions bill that leads to the end of negotiations, Congress will be held responsible for the failure of diplomacy- and perhaps for another war. This bad bill could go through- despite President Obama's promised veto- but only if enough Democrats support it. That's why we need to make sure Senate Democrats hear our opposition now- before the legislation gains traction. Help us send a united, strong, anti-war message to the Senate. The pending agreement has the potential to stand as a powerful example of an important U.S. foreign policy milestone- demonstrating the power of tough, principled diplomacy in lieu of a rush to use military force. An issue that's this important to all of our collective security is worth taking the time to get right. Please take one minute to stop war hawks from killing diplomacy.

  • Boycott Netanyahu's Unauthorized Speech to Congress
Boehner's treacherous invitation to Netanyahu verges on treason. Netanyahu's goal is to use Boehner to sabotage the Iranian Nuclear Disarmament talks. Netanyahu is facing an election in March. This speech is clearly a campaign stunt that will be used to justify his continuing persecution of the Palestinians. It is the constitutional responsibility of the President to conduct foreign policy. There are well-established protocols by which an invitation would be extended through the State Department so that America presents a unified diplomatic position to the world. Democratic Representatives must boycott this speech and remain united behind the President. Failure to do so will make the United States appear to be controlled by Israeli interests further disrupting efforts to achieve Peace in the Middle East.

  • Call on Hillary Clinton to Join Fight Against TPP
The Trans Pacific Partnership will give international corporations veto power over our laws. It will prevent us from doing what we need to do as a nation to get out of this economic crisis. If it is rammed through now, the next President won't be able to do what has to be done. Anyone who plans to be President better stop this treaty , or what's the point?
