We need a sound, democratic voting process. I—and so many people I know of all ages and cultural backgrounds—feel less and less that our votes count. I want to know that superdelegates will use their position to represent the people they serve with integrity and to reflect the vote of the majority of the people.

Democracy is at stake here. Superdelegates should not go against the will of the people in choosing their presidential candidate. If the Superdelegates override the will of the people, it would be a tragedy. Many of WA State's Superdelegates were elected themselves and should place high value on what WA State voters want.

We want to live in a true democracy. That means people's votes are binding. Whomever the people want is who the superdelegates must vote for on behalf of us all.

I am a veteran of the United States Army. While serving with the 172nd Stryker Brigade in Mosul, Iraq, my unit and I helped make Iraq's first national elections safe and fair. I saw thousands of Iraqis brave threats from criminals and terrorists because they knew their vote was a crucial step to securing a peaceful future for their country. As an English composition instructor at a community college, I've witnessed almost the exact opposite attitude from my students. Of my 40+ students this year, two plan on voting. They don't believe their vote counts, especially when they're informed about the billions spent financing campaigns and the realities of the electoral college and Democratic party superdelegates.

Everyone I know in this country has been affected. Corrupt, corporate sponsored politics has brought this country to its knees. Like many intelligent American voters, I have been long pushed into a state of willful submission, not caring anymore about the corrupt political process. That changes now.

I've taught my children how our elections work and that their vote is important. Bring back our democracy by letting the voters have their voice. People fought and died for the right to vote and have their voices heard.

If the Superdelegates override the will of Democratic voters, more and more people will become disillusioned from our electoral process. We want Wisconsinites to be involved in the party's nominating process without the fear that all their hard work won't matter.

In an American political system that disenfranchises voters by utilizing the electoral college in the general election, the primary election is the only semblance of direct control the public has over who holds this nation's highest office. However, due to the undemocratic nature of the Democratic Party's rules, party elite have unfettered control of the election outcome. To make sure that my vote actually counts, I'm initiating this petition, and I hope you'll join me in signing.

The evidence and belief is causing a division within this Country that is unhealthy and growing likened to a "cancer" and it needs to be stopped!

The unfair uber liberal media bias against Hillary and pro Bernie. We want fair reporting for both candidates. Show the Killer Mike stuff, show that he is down in polls. Cmon! Enough negative media bias for Hillary!

Hillary Clinton made $675,000 for three speeches for Goldman Sachs. So far she has refused to release the transcripts to those paid speeches. Clinton's aides and allies have sought to downplay the need to release her speech transcripts. Her pollster, Joel Benenson, said at a Wall Street Journal breakfast on Feb. 5, "I don't think voters are interested in the transcripts of her speeches." Actually, we are. As voters, we deserve to be well informed about what our candidates do. Therefore, we demand that you release the transcripts to the public immediately.

I'm a MoveOn member that's watched our elections with alarm since the Supreme Court's ruling in Citizens United. More and more, big money interests have been spending unlimited campaign dollars to promote and protect the special interests of billionaires and big corporations. The President has spoken passionately about the problems with the Citizens United ruling, and right now he has a unique opportunity to give power back to the American people.
