• Oath-taking Election Workers, Refuse Illegal Orders to Ensure Fair 2020 Elections
To achieve the just, democratic society that is the goal, the ideal, of the United States of America, we must have elections that are free, fair, and draw the participation of all voters who are able vote. But a long, dark history of efforts by some partisans to prevent elections from resulting in outcomes they don't want has led to the current situation we face, where immoral and often illegal acts of many different sorts are perpetrated by those in charge of elections in order to obtain the final results they desire. The success of these actions often depends on people working under the supervision of these bad actors following their wrongful orders and directives. When these recipients of wrongful orders and directives decide to honestly, forthrightly follow their oath of office, to refuse to participate in election perfidy, and to report such activities to the proper authorities, they protect us all from illegitimate government and all of its attendant injury to our society. The make this nation the great democracy it it can and should be.

  • Asking Barack Obama to Deliver a National Commencement Speech for the Class of 2020
This year's graduates are missing out on their long-awaited ceremonies. Today, the Class of 2020 is united by a feeling of uncertainty and separation. What better way to unite our graduates while they're apart than a national commencement speech? A commencement speech by Barack Obama would provide a memorable moment of hope.

  • No more risks!
It is important because our love ones can get the disease, as we can too. All employees were exposed to this person who came out positive to Covid-19. Employees don't want to bring this disease to our loved ones. Some of these employees have new born or even month old babies and children, who are a high risk group.

  • Vote of No Confidence in UNMH CEO Kate Becker
Under this pandemic, WORKER SAFETY in OUR hospital must be your #1 PRIORITY Kate Becker! CEO Kate Becker has failed to protect UNMH health care workers who care for COVID-19 patients. She has refused to bargain with our Union District 1199NM over our health and safety. We raised the alarm to UNMH administrators nearly two months ago about the need for access to Personal Protective Equipment, strong internal safety procedures to prevent community spread, paid administrative leave for those under quarantine and who are infected with COVID-19, and hazard pay to acknowledge the risk we take every day. The CEO has disregarded our safety and the dangers posed to our families. WE VOTE NO CONFIDENCE in CEO Kate Becker. VOTEMOS… NO CONFIANZA en Kate Becker.

  • Essential Pay for our City Workers
They are daily putting their lives and potentially the lives of their families in harm's way as they manage our cities utilities. While most diseases and infections these employees may encounter can be controlled by required vaccinations there is currently no such thin for COVID-19. While the minimum PPE has been provide , continued exposure to contagious render the PPE useless. Varying frontline professionals understand that while they agree to be there for the betterment of our community.

  • Caregivers need a pay raise
Caregivers are vital to making sure the population of vulnerable adults, i.e. the elderly and those with special needs, stay safe and healthy. They help those individuals live their best lives and they do it with compassion and skill. They run medical appointments, they do personal care, pass out medication, and are there to support the individuals. The issue is that there are many who choose to not become caregivers because the pay is so low. Caregivers put themselves through a lot to make sure that those who cannot care for themselves get the best care that they can provide. In the past few years many places have been working short staffed and having quite a bit of turnover with what staff they do hire. The main reason is that with all the responsibilities being a caregiver entails, most are being paid barely above minimum wage. Caregivers often put themselves at risk both physically and mentally doing the job that most families cannot. They deserve to be paid a living wage. Right now most caregivers can barely pay their bills with what they make unless they nearly kill themselves working extreme overtime. It isn't right.

  • Violence Against Women Act
The Violence Against Women Act is a significant legislature in America’s fight against domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. In 2019 VAWA was up for reauthorization, but due to disagreement between lawmakers, the United States Congress failed to reach a bipartisan agreement. It is past time for Congress to take action and pass a reauthorization that maintains current protections for victims, invests in prevention, protects victims and survivors from armed abusers, and ensures all victims and survivors, including Native Americans and LBGTQ communities, have access to justice and safety. We need a full and enhanced reauthorization of VAWA to secure funding in future years. Congress's failure to reauthorize the law and update its substantive protections takes away services and access from those who are most impacted by domestic violence. As a constituent, I urge you to support the success of H.R. 1585 in the Senate, so that the goal of ending domestic violence against women may be recognized.

Covid 19 is affecting the economy in major ways and forcing people to make tough decisions for their families based upon recent events and work displacement. To ease the economic burden in our industry it is in our best interest to open back up with these limited restrictions. Moreover the quarantine was implemented to flatten the curve of the spread of covid 19 to ensure that hospitals were not overwhelmed all at once and to help prevent such rapid spread. The number of people infected is currently on a decline and the numbers aren’t as bad as once projected. Additionally Tattoo artist are trained and certified in blood borne pathogens and cross contamination as well as many other medical safety and sterility procedures.
