Our nation has a national anthem and a national past time, but we do not have a national book of heritage. The Holy BIBLE is the one book that has unified our faith as a nation in the living God. The HOLY BIBLE has been historically attached to our nation, from the Pilgrims landing on Plymouth Rock, to educating Slaves on America’s Underground Railroad and even so today. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “ If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Psalm 33:12 “ Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Our petition is a redress of grievances. Just like there was a declaration to proclaim our independence as a new nation; so should there be a declaration to proclaim our nation’s historical attachment to the HOLY BIBLE.

I am 24 years old. I have had a total of four miscarriages. I was only able to carry my son to 34 weeks because we had started with twins. We have done some tests and found out that I have low progesterone. There is not history of this in my family. My family is quite fertile. I want to leave a Roundup-free and healthy food supply for my son and future children and give them the hope of being able to have their own healthy families. That means we need to act now. We shouldn't have to wait until 2015 for answer, and then more years for a result. We need to do something now. Please sign my petition, and spare our children some of the pain and suffering we are allowing them.

The country is outraged that the reaction of our senate to the tragedy at Sandy Hook was to DO NOTHING. Senator Baucus voted against expanding background checks. He owes the victims of gun violence.

I want the president to VETO any and all bills passed by this Congress that only stops part of the Sequester! For example, by preventing the furloughs of air traffic controllers other airport/airline items will have to be cut! Furthermore, how about ALL of government employees that will continued to be furloughed like the National Park Service! We need to stop the ENTIRE SEQUESTER AND NOT JUST PIECES OF IT!

My son is a 14 year old child with multiple mental health diagnosis Number one being Autism/ADHD/PDD. He is being held in Juvenile Detention general population for an incident which could have been prevented in school, when he should clearly be hospitalized. I have gone above and beyond the call of duty as an advocate and single mother for this child for nearly 15yrs. He has been hospitalized and needs specific care. Autism has no label or legal system in place within the court system. Help us give my son and other Autistic children the appropriate placement,voice and care when being thrust into the legal system by there so called safe environments.

The root of the Ivory Trade is the Asian Market. 25,000 African elephants were poached for their ivory last year. Even more were killed this year= 2012/2013. If funding for education of the conservation of mega fauna and what it means for healthy ecosystems and the ripple effect on all of our lives was made a priority we could get a handle on this crisis. The citizens who have signed this petition are demanding that awareness be made in all venues to make it clear that... "If you buy, they die". Funding needs to be directed towards curriculum that denounces religious beliefs or value crazes that raise the price of ivory on the Asian market.

The "Mock Car Crash" has been cancelled by the Administration at our school. This demonstration send a very strong message to young adults about the dangers of driving under the influence and distracted driving.
