Stop House Bill 122 "Woman's RightI to Know Act"Section 5 of House Bill 122 is the "Ultrasound Requirement". Forcing women to be subjected to an unwanted and unnecessary ultrasound, causing undue financial hardship. This bill in its entirety assumes that the women seeking treatment is oblivious to what she is doing, or it is an impulsive act. Leave medical treatment choices to doctors and women.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Julia Eddy

K-9 vests for working dogsA growing number of police departments state they do not have the funding to protect their K-9 officers with bullet/knife proof vests... It is vital for these working dogs to be offered the same protection as any officer of the law... There are non-profit organizations who are willing to do what the Police Departments do not... Considering purchasing and training a K-9 officer costs in the tens of thousands of dollars, a vest will cost each unit approximately 1500.00... This is a very little sum considering all of the lives saved by each and every K-9 officer...13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Angeli Fernandez

keep Evergreen Gate/School Street turnstile unlocked during daylight hoursThe Evergreen Gate/School Street turnstile provides residents of our neighborhoods with pedestrian access to the newly improved (Measure M) San Leandro High School sports complex, reducing traffic congestion on Bancroft Ave. A recent proposal before the School Board requests that the gate be permanently locked at all times, because some residents of that short cul-de-sac have voiced concern about issues such as parking enforcement and littering. We ask that the turnstile be kept OPEN to pedestrians during daylight hours, and that any parking or other issues be addressed separately. If needed, maintenance staff can easily lock and unlock the turnstile as part of their daily routines.150 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Richard Cook

Child Support EnforcementEach year, non-custodial parents find ways to evade paying their court ordered child support. It's time to put a stop to this behavior! Save the Sammons Family CemeteryWe are asking the the Virginia Department of Transportation and Governor Bob McDonnell reroute the Route 29 Bypass to preserve the history and dignity of these human beings. The bypass was already rerouted previously to avoid a pet cemetery and spare the feelings of the pet owners. However these more than 100 year old graves of slave descendants lack "significant historical value" according to VDoT and they plan on moving them to make way for the road. Local historian Cinder Stanton calls this report “superficial and full of factual errors.” Please help us honor the dead and let them rest in peace. http://www.newsplex.com/home/headlines/VDOT-Responds-to-Western-Bypass-Cemetery-Concerns-189097691.html http://www.c-ville.com/should-vdot-reroute-the-bypass-around-graves-of-slave-descendants/#.USzt7TenfTp http://www.wina.com/play_window.php?audioType=Episode&audioId=62566494 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Shining Crawford

Gov. Quinn, Don't Frack Us!Gov. Quinn should say "no" to the unenforceable, inadequate fracking regulations in HB2615. The oil and gas industry has a very long history of cutting corners and skimping on safety. Regulations are worthless if they are not enforced. HB2615 has too many gaping holes in it to protect Illinois. The safety of Illinoisans is as important as that of New Yorkers: we deserve a moratorium on fracking and an investigative task force just like New York has enacted! Gov. Quinn should say "no" to unenforceable regulations and "yes" to a moratorium on fracking, HB3086, and SB1418!139 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Lora Chamberlain
