    My wife of 39 years died from brain cancer, and marijuana was the only medicine that was able to control her nausea and vomiting. Its use as a pain medication had many fewer side effects than the pain meds the doctors prescribed. The only side effect was making her feel good, which is not such a bad thing when you're sick and know you're going to die.

    I am in a place in my life that I have witnessed much of the discrimination with X-offenders trying to regain a place back in society and or not awarded the opportunity. I have not been affected by this type of discrimination however, many of the women and men I have talked to have. It saddens me as they cry to tell their story on how they want to do better but cant.
