Gerrymandering is a process by a party in power to draw political districts to gain advantage. The district boundaries are skewed to take advantage of voting blocks to either increase their voice or eliminate their voice. Gerrymandering is the clearest example of election fraud and clearly diminishes representative democracy and reduces or eliminates civil rights for blocks of voters.

I work at a job that is short staffed just like anywhere else. They have alot of events booked on weekends, Holidays, or just flat can't do there job in 40 hours. So therefore peole are getting alot of overtime. Well the employer MAKES us take our pay for the hours over 40 in COMP Time. I would like to make it Law that the employee has the option to take it Comp time or Over time pay? Not right that they force us to work OT then tell us how we get paid for it! your talking about people who make less than 23,000 a year? PS. I work for United States Public School System.

Texans are among the worst states when it comes to the availability of health care and it being affordable. I urge Texas house, Senate, and Govenor to suuport Texans by extending the lawful health care of Obama.

Women of America, are you aware that we are still "second class citizens? The Equal Rights Amendment for women was introduced in every Congressional session from 1923 - 1972, when it finally passed. 35 states have ratified it but we still need 3 more states before it can become a part of the Constitution and give women full citizenship rights. It is one of the few amendments in history to be given a time limit for ratification so H.J.RES.43 and S.J.RES.15 have been introduced to remove the deadline, but there has been no action by Congress since March, 2011. Now is the time to demand that Congress remove the deadline so we can pressure the 15 remaining states to ratify the ERA. With the planet's environmental disasters increasing everywhere, a United Nations Ecology Force needs to be created--for both land and sea--that will be sent into disaster spots to stabilize and rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible, and stop and apprehend gross environmental abusers whose actions destroy wildlife, cost billions of dollars every year and bring our world closer to ruin.

On a daily basis I see ads excoriating Sen. Bill Nelson for "being the deciding vote" for the Affordable Care Act. Let's let him know that Floridians are grateful for his action.
