RFK stadium is to be razed in the next couple of years and the mayor and some council members want to see another NFL size stadium at that location. We feel the residents deserve a better experience at the RFK campus all year round.

Cable companies are petitioning the FCC to deduct the cost of in-kind services from the money they pay to community stations. This could mean the end of this vital grass root system of communication which allows citizens to view local city council meetings and election debates. The law needs to stand as it is and thus protect the freedom of speech for our local communities.

Having SIP days or half days on Monday’s are not beneficial compared to them being on Friday’s. Having them on Fridays allows something for people to look forward to where having them on Monday only brings students skipping a day of school.

Sexual assault is a serious offense and these cases keep happening, wherein the assailant is not brought to justice and the victims are left in the cold. Universities claim they take the safety of the student body very seriously. If that is true, universities have a responsibility to keep potential predators off campus.

Over 91% of Greater Chaco is already leased for oil and gas drilling, and after record-breaking protest comments in March 2018, Interior Secretary Zinke deferred the lease sale of over 4,000 acres of land in Greater Chaco, calling for more cultural study and consultation. But no additional study or consultation occurred. Although BLM quietly deferred parcels within the Farmington Field Office, the agency proceeded with the sale of 30 parcels and 41,000 acres of lands within the Rio Puerco Field Office, still within Greater Chaco and home to living Navajo communities and innumerable culturally sacred sites. Walgreens is paying off Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin $1,000 and $6,000 at a time for corporate tax breaks. This is while Republicans legislators are undermining democracy by power grabbing before a Democratic governor and attorney general step in. Wisconsin is not a corporate prize to win. The rise of corporate self interest has been meteoric. We must act, so let’s get going. Stop buying from Walgreens and tell them to stop helping Republicans undermine American democracy .

Chicago Public Schools is rushing to set up a new student data platform using Aspen Student Information System by Follett. This includes data about student's citizenship and immigration status which could be misused and pose a threat to students and families, especially since CPS has suffered repeated data breaches. We want the implementation of Aspen halted until these fields are removed and the parties commit to protecting our children, their families, and their communities.

So far this year, numerous trains have arrived around 6:30 am, preventing students from making it to school on time, which has resulted in unnecessary tardies and detentions. Arriving at school on time can have a major effect on students' education, which is a top priority. Please spread the word so the current train schedule can be ratified!!!

5 Years ago, My Son died at age 23 of health complications leaving a daughter then 1 year old, now she is 7 years old, after my Son died I was not allowed to see my Grand daughter again because the mother don't allow me to see her because she had a new boyfriend. I tried court but this law doesn't help me to see her; The law establishes that you should have a parent like relationship with your Grandchild; How could I have a Parent like relationship with my Granddaughter if I'm not allow to see her? I been fighting in court since then but this law doesn't support my claim. This situation has affected me and my whole family she has family in her daddy side she can't even look at and this will affect me always until is changed is cruel for my granddaughter and me not to be able to see each other again because my deceased Son can't give me the right to see her again; I lost him that is so strong and painful and loosing her too is killing me emotionally and Physically; Please I'm begging to help me please make Amendments in this law. I'm a mental health worker and I'm please asking , begging for support.

As a citizen, I believe that it is paramount the election process must be totally transparent, and without any foreign interference, or foreign support for any candidate. Any conspiracy between a candidate and a foreign power must be exposed, and serious punishment must be administered upon the offending parties. The next US Attorney General must insure that regardless of the persons involved, the RULE OF LAW must prevail for the integrity of the election process, and for the good of the entire country.

As an advocate against institutionalized abuse, I've identified kickback referral schemes as a primary cause of corruption and poor quality of care for those requesting or feeling a need for such services. I believe passage of S. 3254 will aid in stopping the referral industry that worries more about income than patient satisfaction or well-being.
